Don't you EVER compare yourself to Dimash's abilities or accomplishments. You are right that it would be depressing. Just thank GOD that you're not a singer. I've seen singers react to him who felt like they should stop singing and try something else! Instead of being inspired about what is possible, their mistake is to compare themselves to him. They don't realize that even though he probably is the best vocalist in the world, I'm sure many people don't think of him as their preferred singer, and each person has an opinion as to who is the best singer in the world, the best performer in the world, etc, because that's subjective depending on each person's preference. And if Dimash is not necessarily the best singer in the world, why would anyone try to compare themselves to him? When you react to "Sinful Passion", let the video run to the end as you will get to see just how humble this man is. He is the "Anti-Diva", which makes his fans love him even more. He is not obnoxious like a lot of artists out there.
He was 23 years old here as a guest at Slavic Bazaar . And now he is 27 years old. SOS original singer was a French Canadian by the name of Daniel Bolavoine who died in a plane crash on the late 1979 at an early age of 21. Dimash took this song in a different direction and made it his own and he paid it as tribute to Gregory Lemarchal also sang this song but also died at an early age of 23 in 2007 due to cystic fibrosis while awaiting for lung transplant. See this song is very special to Dimash heart . He sang this song in The Singer 2017 in China and became an overnight sensation that changed his life forever . ❤️🇺🇸

You're right. You've never heard an artist like this before - because there's never BEEN an artist like this before. Not just in our lifetime - but in the history of the planet ! People stop breathing when he holds his long notes - their mouths fall open - they lose their words - their brains seize up & they tear up. People will travel to wherever he is in the world just to hear him LIVE. The reason people are amazed - is because he's amazing! Enjoy.

This is the stage where he won Grand Prix in 2015. He went back here in 2018 with this performance. In July 2021 he was invited again as a member of the panel of judges (they call it jury) and as guest performer with the songs "ACCROSS ENDLESS DIMENSION, BE WITH ME and LOVE IS LIKE A DREAM. Seated with him on the jury box this year was one of the judges who judged him in 2015. A fellow judge said that Dimash is a well-mannered person. He further narrated how the fans love Dimash, and that fans from many countries attended the Slavic Bazaar in Belarus because of Dimash. Those who worked with him and people who witnessed his live performances are in unison in saying that he is a real phenomenon.

At 30, his voice will be IT. One day I commented that he is gift from GOD to Universe. And then I find out that his last name means GIFT FROM GOD. That shook me. This song was written by a young French man named Gregory who had Cystic Fibrosis & lived with this painful disease all his life. He recorded the song but then died while waiting for a lung transplant at the age of 22. Dimash found the song & learned of the young man who wrote it & recorded it, adapting it to his style & has dedicated it to the memory of Gregory.

He is not well known in the states coz his songs are not played in the radio. Its not mainstream kind of, though he has some songs that are pop but it still not enough to draw listeners. He is well known in China, Europe and Asia and at UA-cam. Also, his company doesnt do a lot of advertising, basically, its his Dears are the one trying to spread his names, though, his fan clubs are all over the world. Congratulations on your reaction, Dimash is a very humble and simple boy, for what i have read and seen he highly appreciates his roots and exposes them when he can in his presentations. He is very respectful of everyone and kind. He was competing in The World´s Best in 2019 but he retired. This caused annoyance in Rupaul but Dimash was more concerned with leaving the little ones that competed with him frustrated and seeing the level and quality that he has, he would very likely have won. By the way the prize was of 1,000,000.00 dollars.
Just to clarify- it’s kazakh tradition that you don’t compete against children, but you help lift them up. He was specifically requested to be on the show by producers, his demand was that he wouldn’t participate if it was against children. They agreed, then once he was involved he found out there were children in the competition. So when it was obvious he’d likely win, he gracefully announced he would leave the show. The show of course edits like crazy to boost any & all drama, it wasn’t good. Besides that they butchered every performance by cutting it down & the overall production quality of the show is a 2 compared to The Singer competition’s 10. They did him dirty
I can totally relate to your reaction guys. That's a normal reaction for those who stump upon Dimash. They just cant believe their eyes and ears. Its really out of this world. His voice just pierced right through your soul. As the least known artist he was the first to perform in the opening show - he brought the house down and placed first in that round and placed second in the overall competition.
He has a global fan base but, as you’ve pointed out, a small subscriber base on YT - just criminal as he really should be a worldwide household name.
