In May, me and Amy did the challenging 7 mile circular walk from Seathwaite in the Borrowdale Valley up to the summit of Great Gable (899m), via Green Gable (801m) and the appropriately named Windy Gap.

Amazing video! Such views! Did you descend via the same route or is there an easier way down?

How technical was the hike? Did it require some difficult scrambling and areas of exposure?

Some of it was quite exposed - particularly around Windy Gap - but nothing that felt too dangerous. The scrambling was hard work towards the end, but didn’t feel too technical.
