Hercules weren't playin', they're coming for the crown of the portable motorized platter controller category. The weight, price and functionality of this thing is going to make it an instant classic, mark my words...
Still got my Hercules RMX2 that's over a decade now and it still works flawlessly.. Makes cheap pioneer controllers look ridiculous. That new one looks sick!
@@sylvia9292 dont remind me about scratching let alone mixing on fucking soundlabs. the dlp3's were direct drives and worse than the shittiest belt drives or bottom end numark directs out there
If you have dealt with pioneer warranty issues ever I wouldn’t get 3 years extra. The warranty is pretty much useless. They send you to repair shops that aren’t taking repairs because they are so backlogged and the people you deal with are glorified redirects. You call and they send you a link to a repair shop and that is the extent of pioneer service.
S/O Hercules! My first controller was an RMX and I loved that little guy. Shortly after, I swallowed the Pioneer pill and have owned everything the SRs / RRs / XDJ & Nexus equipment but I'm tired of the price. The equipment lasts about 18 months before it starts bugging out and for $1.6k++ it just isn't worth it to me. I'm going back to my roots. Big Ups Hercules!
What did I say to you Mojaxx in the Salt Market in Feb - companies need to start making more affordable gear & sure it can be done without compromising features........Looks like both these companies were listening. And if that R2 has even 85% sound quality of the high end rotary mixers, for £350 this is also another game changer
Belt drive 😮 now for some of pre 1200 dj's Technics had a straight arm belt drive turntable that at least 75% of us had back in the day. Hercules Inpulse T7 Yes that will added to the studio 👍
Belt drives can be done right. I've used belt drives before. Most of you don't do heavy scratching anyway not a factor. Hercules would release a half baked product
Inpulse T7 looks great, now Hercules just need to "cut it" and make a single deck version with no mixer, so we get a pair hooked-up to our external mixer of choice.
As someone who is a hobbyist and is looking to upgrade my Numark mixtrack platinum fx , I feel like the t7 was aimed at my demographic but for some one who doesn't own Serato dj pro and is tired of paying a subscription fee, the t7 becomes a $1k controller. When you're getting into the $700 price point, you should not be getting the lite version of a software.
Everyone's saying "pass" on the T7 because it's belt driven & assume they wouldn't be able to scratch on it but all these portable decks like the PT-01, Stanton STX, Reloop SPIN are all belt driven & we've all seen what Turntablists can do with those. But if it's anything like the old Denon DN-S5000/3000 then it's definitely a hard pass
what about mixing. like beatmixing and juggling, and .... I need this thing to be snap on with speed and keep pitch. I am interested as a rane user for portability and less expense to bring to clubs that i have to setup at. I guess we will have to see with the big name djs and tutorials that will drop.
pioneer should better deliver the products, I'm waiting several months for rx3, I cancel the order for a new order...the opus quad. I guess.... out of stock, deliver time???? not known:(:(:(
Not really, stems works on the rane one just fine, rane one has direct drive motors, and the cross fader does not need to be upgraded and the paddles are much nicer. There is a reason this thing is only 700, I still love my rane one, but the rane four is so packed with awesome I had to get one of them also, but rane one still for the win, but hey, it's a nice budget option. Until you break the belt mid session and have to stop and take it apart, yah that will be fun I bet
AlphaTheta Care... A tone-deaf announcement from a company that can't even execute against their existing warranties. They have no parts for repairs but can somehow find parts to make new units..... Anyone buying these plans is going to be in for a big surprise when they find out it's 6-9 months for a repair!
That Hercules controller looks like your basic controller. Nothing special for someone to be investing money into. I see the fanboys in the comments salivating over it though. The DJ side of NAMM has become too open friendly. Letting people who call themselves DJs in there when they can't DJ worth shit.
They already did their spinning platter entry and even tho the company was bought a year or two ago it seems no further development is happening. When the Rane One dropped I jumped ship to Serato and no regrets it's finally a mature platform and the new stems feature is pretty on-point. Not to mention the problems I had with Traktor DVS randomly cutting in half, I don't miss it that much honestly. They really are going to have to come out of left field swinging to trump the strides Serato has made.
You look amazing, congratulations on the excellent progress and thank you for inspiring us, along with the awesome reviews :) :) :) :)
Great coverage. Can’t wait to hear more about that rotary 😊

For someone who likes to keep up with the trends love this 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Holly crap Mojax! You've lost some weight, hope all is well and if it is congratulations. Also, great video! Thank you!
Mojaxx - thanks for genuine excitement and continuous spot on reviews. Love the excitement.
*NAMM always surprises me, so glad to see Mojaxx back in Los Angeles!* 🎧🎚🌴

I need this Hercules. Nice
great coverage!
Awesome the Hercules with spinning jogs!!!! Hey any sight of new Traktor hardware btw???
Professionnel as ever, people get lesson, clear know what to say no blanc silence, Pro !
Thanks for the detailed coverage of the show!
As always great presentation. MJ is The Mac Daddy! Thnx!

That's awesome
Finally! Something that can rival the Ecler Warm2. Can’t wait to see what the Headliner R2 has to offer ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I recommend starting scratching on belt drives, makes direct drive so much better when you make the transition

Lookin well dude man you’ve shrunk
Check to see if your renters, owners, or business insurance is cheaper to protect your equipment.
That Hercules is going to be a bit hit. Lots of folks will be buying that
Good time to invest in their stocks perhaps.
no semipro let alone professional even considers hercules toys, sorry
Hercules hit gold with that release
@@BlueHawk80 I agree, but they aren't the biggest part of the market.

Nice! Does it unlock Serato Dj Pro?🤔
Unfortunately it doesn't, you'll have to buy it or pay the subscription fee.
My biggest concern with the Hercules is gonna be the fader. I can’t imagine that for $700 that the fader on that thing is gonna be any kind of good

Not a fan of belt drive but, I am impressed by the weight of it. Rather lug that around vs ns7 lol
