Vintage Super 8 Footage of Toronto Pearson YYZ - February 1980

Just before turning 13 years old, I filmed this from the old T1 garage roof. My mom and brother were retuning from Prestwick, Scotland aboard the British Airways VC-10. While waiting, I captured a Wardair 747, Nordair 737, Air Canada DC-8 and L1011, and more. Footage has been transferred from Super 8 - VHS - DVD - MP4. No sound, and colour has vanished from some parts during conversions!

The old parking garage was the best place to plane spot. I remember seeing my dad leaving for Thunder Bay in a Vickers Viscount from here in the mid 60's. I had no idea VC-10s flew into Pearson. That was cool.
