Hey! Great video - quick question, did you have any issues with DSP? I installed this unit but the audio cuts off after 30 seconds. Everything else works great. Any tips you have are much appreciated!
Hey thank you! Car has been parked but I did drive it for a little while and didn’t have any DSP issue that I noticed at least! Maybe reach out to Eonon as when I did for my T-Mobile connectivity they were very fast to respond!
I think the screens on these are terrible, but the rest of everything else is perfect. They should make a lineup of premium units, meanwhile these remain the more affordable option.
Hey there, I really would like to install the Eonon radio but I'm not sure if it will fit to my E39 from 2003 since theres written that the radio is for E39 from 1995 to 2002. Will there be any issues if I install the radio ? I would appreciate your help 🙌
Let me know if you use wireless carplay, been using bt music instead as the carplay music from spotify is much lower on volume and cuts in and out at times… have you experienced this?
It really is. Three gripes however, in descending order…occasionally after I start my car the screen will be off. (A quick tap of the power button fixes this issue), the gps speed isn’t always on and connected, and getting the card out in my installation is a pain and the only way to get footage out of the mirror… otherwise I would install this in every vehicle I own that needs it!

Did you cut out the part where you have to install the 6ft harness from the trunk to the front of the car?
The only harness you might have to install front to rear is for the rear camera. My car did not need a extra harness but I have seen some that do

Hi, I dont believe there is any reason it wouldnt as long as its an e39 body. I dont know of any meaningful changes to the radio area in 2003.
2003 have much better things from engine to electronics, did it work on yours because i want to buy one i have also 2003@@WompFilterProductions

I havent used the bluetooth but the wireless carplay was loud and clear!

They do yes... maybe your wheel control box didnt get programmed from factory?
Flashing light at buttons are only on video or also in real?
Only in video! Just the refresh of the LED’s

Does the rear view camera work automatically when the gear is shifted to R or do we need to pull a cable from the gear?
If you wire it up to come on in reverse it does :)

You probably have the amp in the trunk. Not as simple as this setup. Need to run adaptor all the way to the back and some extra stuff
