Natural Long Hair Care | Homemade Hair Wash Ingredient Comparison and Conditioner Bar

  • I’m letting my hair grow as long as possible using natural products and a simple routine. This is just a short video comparing some different products.

    -My Current Hairwash Recipe: (all measurements are heaping) 1/2 tsp. Amla powder, 1/2 tsp. Shikakai powder, 1/2 tsp. Hibiscus Powder, 1 1/2 tsp. Slippery Elm powder, 1 1/2 tsp. Soapnut powder, 6 drops nettle extract, 6 drops yucca extract. Add hot water and mix. Massage into scalp and hair. Rinse thoroughly. Then I use the conditioner bar mixed with glycerin on the lower half of my hair.

    Love the routine. I’ve had a big shed this so lots of tangly baby hair, I discovered that sunflower oil is my hair’s favorite detangleling oil.
