what I miss most about Japan 😭

- Japan Vlog Diaries 9! This is the LAST ONE from this trip and I really wanted to let out my thoughts on what I miss most about Japan. Yes, I miss the food *always*, the convenience of everything, the beauty and thoughtfulness of Japanese design but most importantly I miss spending time with my family. It's the quiet moments in between that I miss.
The older I get, the more I see the pain behind my parents decision to raise us in America. Knowing that it was the right decision but realizing later that my sister and I identity more as American and don't necessarily want to live in Japan. So we're lucky if we can see each other once a year. And the reality hits that we all don't live forever.
I'm going to work hard so I can see them more often. Now, I hope to have kids sooner, rather than later so they have more time with their grandparents. And I want to cherish every moment that I have with them.

Beautiful heartfelt vlogging ❤
Love your voice over.
I love the little bit of vlogging vs living in the moment. My last trip to Hawaii, I gave up on trying to get shots that look pretty! I also just put everything in one long chronological timeline! CHEE!
Love that! It's still a challenge for me but just being mindful of it has helped a lot
