Respect to Israel from Nigeria. They know how to deal with Islam extremists. Just today, a female University student was attacked and killed by a mob in Sokoto because she "blasphemed" against mohammad. Basically, she said "Thank Jesus, I passed my exams" and the locals got angry and told her to not say Jesus. She refused, and they killed her and burned her corpse and posted videos gloating about it. her killers will likely not face justice because the culture of northern Nigeria is barbaric like this. Israel understands how to deal with these people. Only a fool takes a light hand with these people.
Muslims are the world's least intelligent people, would say anyone who met a Muslim before I like subSaharan Africa, for how it managed to prevent Isl*mic tyranny from spreading downwards
And all respect back to you, and you are absolutely right. Compassion is a great thing, but people need to understand it can't be favored over justice. "Rehabilitation" is completely uneffective as it leaves evil doers free of punishment, basically encouraging them to commit the same crime again. It's supposed to be a resume, not a full blown documentary, also he did it basically for free as UA-cam keeps this specific country in the "don't hurt" list
I feel like the western Military Tradition was less of an understanding/ expiation and more of 'these people won becasue they have this thing' when those wars are a lot more complicated then that. Still a good video other than that though!
Great!. Question: where can I read an example of the western military tradition mentioned in the first part? There were other reasons for the success in the War of Independence, such as the fact that for Jews it was victory or total anihilation, while the Arabs were fighting a war far from home.
The French did continue arms shipments in secret though. For instant the Nesher attack aircraft based on the Mirage III was said to be developed and built by Israel, but this was a public lie. Israel had bought Mirage V aircraft that France refused to deliver, instead Israel got the same number of Mirage V aircraft direct from the French air force and pretended they had spied on France and built them themselves.
Israel is one of those nation that is small and kinda poor in resources but really strong because of efficiency in economy and military compare to the rest of their neighbors, hardship would make your country into shithole but doesn't mean you should gave up to the nature and stop adapt and innovate.
You mention the mizrahi Jews as if they were suddenly accepted fully into Israel by the Ashkenazim. This is not true. There was a lot of racism against mizrahi Jews in the early years of Israel
4:27 Exuse me? Less than Ideal? Czechoslovakian weapons were of the highest quality in the world at that time. We were also the only state that did send wapons to izrael, the chances of them wining would be far smaller without us.
The weapons that were sold to Israel in 1948 were absolute shit, it is well known fact not opinion,no need to be offended, Israel fully appreciate the (edit:crucial)help especially in that time of the Embargo.
1:04 is wrong, most Jews in Israel today are Sephardic/Mizhrai. Meaning, most Jews came from neighboring Middle East, or Spain/Turkey/Persia. Ashkenazi Jews (White) are the majority for Western countries. I might be wrong where the Jews were expelled from these countries over time and became the majority that way, but just how the current demographics are and in the influx of Jews after Soviet collapse kind of deters this point. I don't think ever in Israel's history, Ashkenazi or European Jews were the majority.
Why "western military tradition" instead of "modern and developed military schools of thought, relevant to your situation"? I get that within the context of the video it makes sense due to these being synonims in that era, but it seems like a very western-centric oversimplification that's being ignorant over actual creation and/or modernization of a military. You wouldn't adopt "military tradition" just because they are labeled "western", you might just end up adopting the italian military tradition of no inter-service cooperation and improper military planning

I mean lets be real now the only thing the israelis remember is the ZK-whatever smg that they proceeded to make much better in every way with the UZI (which has a pretty ironic name)
There Is Another Reason Maybe, There Is The Jews Who Become The British Army during The WW2 and also There Is The jews Who Become The American Army, and There Is Also The jews Who Join The Soviet Military. so if They Come Home To Their Home In Palestine They Had a Army to Defend And Train their People to become army In their Country.
About Western Military Tradition, 1. Russia, especially the Soviet era, is considered Western Military even adopting its ideas and trained the Egyptians and Syrians in such tactics. 2. German was outnumbered by Russia. First World War ended in stalemate to victory yet Second World War ended in vicious defeat after steam rolling up to Moscow (mostly due to over extension or Soviet do have Military Tradition like Deep Warfare but do show the pitfalls of Western Military Tradition beating numerically advantage enemy).

This video is informative on Israel (a country that is often overlooked in YT history) but I must say that you are scratching the surface of the subjects you talk about without giving enough explanation.

I feel like the western Military Tradition was less of an understanding/ expiation and more of 'these people won becasue they have this thing' when those wars are a lot more complicated then that. Still a good video other than that though!

The commentary section below is going to become a dumpster fire. That's why you can't make a video about Israel. But anyways, nice video.

I don't think ever in Israel's history, Ashkenazi or European Jews were the majority.
they were a majority for like the first decade
Even if they weren't the majority, the racism of the time probably made them look like it.
I think he was talking about during the establishment of Israel in '48.
This country was born on the basis of communes aka "kibutzim" from Soviet union Jewish deportees. So.. No he is right.

True. Even the Japanese developed their own tactics after they took in the technology and basic training.
Israel also got a few Veterans from the previous world wars, There's lots of factor to israel military success

About Western Military Tradition,
1. Russia, especially the Soviet era, is considered Western Military even adopting its ideas and trained the Egyptians and Syrians in such tactics.
2. German was outnumbered by Russia. First World War ended in stalemate to victory yet Second World War ended in vicious defeat after steam rolling up to Moscow (mostly due to over extension or Soviet do have Military Tradition like Deep Warfare but do show the pitfalls of Western Military Tradition beating numerically advantage enemy).
western military tradition was way too vague in this video and not at all explained, and maybe even a tad racist
If israel was an arab country, no one would be crying
