Why are people disliking this video? IGN has actually handled this situation with dignity and class. One person’s mistakes do not reflect the entire company.

A well rounded review. Just like Boomstick. IGN apologized and did the right thing and gave us a brand new review. One person failure shouldn't be used to bring down a company. Truth be told.

Im guessing they made a really poorly made review before this where they maybe didn't understand the game correctly and therefore gave it a bad score or something but I cant say for sure its just my guess I haven't seen the first review

He just beat an Elite which dropped both a relic wich give you awesome and rare buffs and a legendary grade weapon, but he forgot that those kinds of enemies drop bombs when they die. Won awesome loot only to get killed because he went to grab it 1 second too quickly.

So Filip Muicin was a UA-camr who got hired almost a year ago by IGN and he was recently caught for completely plagiarising the Dead Cells Review by Boomstick Gaming (another UA-camr). And according to more research by internet sleuths (I'm assuming at this part, no clue who is exactly researching further) he has two other instances where he plagiarised from other people (Nintendo Life and Engadget). Haven't checked out the Engadget article but Nintendo Life and Boomstick Gaming was for sure plagiarised so I don't think I'm going too far in saying that he did do so.
Personal Opinion (you can skip this): I've followed Filip since the start and saw his videos and podcasts so I'm rather disappointed that he would do this. I did not really like how in podcasts he would just always say that he's a big fan of this series and the like for almost everything but I enjoyed his positivity. Unfortunately everything is true but I don't think IGN is really at fault here. He's had an established and pretty fast growing UA-cam channel and no one would think he would be that dumb to do something so dumb.
Also IGN took action really fast and took things down and made another Dead Cells Review (hence the V2), they also mentioned some sort of compensation to Boomstick Gaming but that remains to be seen (or it could be a under-table sort of settlement who knows).

Guys, as much as the trend is popular, blaming and smearing IGN isn't the right thing to do in this case. They dealt with the issue as best they could and handled the criticism well, so it's time for us to accept that and move on. Spreading toxicity about it won't help anyone. Props to them for the acknowledgement and the re-review!

Hate IGN with a passion I just come on these videos to look at the comments and how badly the reviews are when I’m bored. However they handled this situation very well, and this is quite a decent review. Thumbs up from me. Not everybody at IGN are as bad as I thought.

I just wish the game would look more modern. It's 2018, for me it's hard to accept SNES-graphics after all these years. Imagine this with beautifully drawn sprites and detailed environments. This pixelated world doesn't do it for me.
SNES is definitely an understatement. At least pick the proper system to represent the graphical quality of this game (of which an SNES would literally not be able to run).
We'll never know for sure but you get the idea. I wouldn't imagine a 2D indie game to look like this nowadays. They have all the HD/4K screens. It's not about 3D graphics or polygons. But when you have the opportunity to draw something beautiful why stick with huge pixels? I see the animations are great and the game is really fluid but it still lack finesse in the graphics department. At least in my opinion.
I have to admit I didn’t really have any interest in the game, but the whole controversy had me interested. Props to IGN for quickly doing the right thing. Great job on the new review, and will have to buy a switch so I can check the game out.
