I want thank you all for putting these precons on screen in a lot of variations. I know it takes a ton of work, so thank you for putting out a ton of content in a short time frame. I love the variations. Special shout out to Aaron and the editors.
@@charlied8284I mean, playing the game doesn’t, sure. But staging, filming, editing the video definitely does. Making meaningful changes to each of the decks takes an amount. Maybe the guys on screen don’t do the video editing, but editor man is pushing hard to make this shit happen.
At 26:35, when Alex wiped the board, Aaron should have gotten an experience counter for each of his colorless creatures dying, so he should have had seven instead of four. Also, at 28:00, when Bill says he can't recast his commander, I think he was thinking its base cost was five instead of four again, because he actually has just enough to do it.
Another bit, correct me if I’m wrong(also it had 0 bearing on the game) at 17:39 path of ancestry was tapped for colorless when it cannot be because it can only be tapped for colored mana.
Oh man, 17:43, that evacuation would have been really good. Apex Devastor is still on the stack to resolve all the cascade triggers. He then would have the Devastor on the field, what ever his next 2 cascades are, and opponents would have an empty field
I think the alt commanders are good, but the decks need more adjustment to be good with them at the helm, like blue green needs more land creatures, maybe an awakening the woods. Coram could use some more mill synergy and graveyard recursion stuff, luckily I think he got extremely lucky with card types, being at 8 so quickly was a little crazy. The eldrazi alt needs a lot of scion eldrazi token creations. Overall great episode.
Yeah. If you‘re running pure precon the face commanders are optimal, if you‘re planning on upgrading in any way the secondary commanders have much more potential. That rings true for all of these MH3 precons. But to be honest all of the new precons are kind of meh. They need a lot of tinkering in order to be really good, which is unusual for a new set that promised to increase the power level. I feel like Thunder Junction just played smoother.
@@SahnigReingeloetetI think they were really pushing the power creep more for modern format where this set is actually power creeping a lot of the stuff modern has going for it. Commander is way different but honestly the decks seem pretty powerful and even from watching the upgraded version on the next video you can already see how strong they can be even just changing 10 cards.
@@SwagMaster824 yes definitely, they‘re all worth their money (except for the Eldrazi one, it‘s good but not 100$ good). Graveyard Overdrive is my personal favorite out of the bunch, simply because Jund is such a fun color to play. Playing the deck constructed around Disa is really fun and it can pop off really good simply because of how many big tokens she can make. Pyrogoif is still a cracked card. And if you want something more consistent you can swap her out for Coram and just play constructed Jund good stuff.
This is one of my favorite channels to watch for commander, hands down. All the people are so charasmatic and there's just something about this pod that always makes me enjoy watching
Excellent episode as always! This game seemed very different than the others that I've seen so far with these decks so it was neat to see how much a different commander can change up the precons!
17:42 @Jan why didn't you cast Evacuation when you cascaded into it off the Apex Devastator? You were tied for the fewest amount of creatures, and had enough mana to recast them easily. Also, Apex Devastator would still be on the way onto the battlefield
Not to mention all of the synergy with the other legendaries that produce experience counters, like Meren of Clan Nel Toth, Ezuri Claw of Progress and Minthara the Merciless.

It's funny...
