  • In this video I am spider rigging for crappie on Truman Lake in Missouri with three time crappie fishing national champion Charlie Bunting. Charlie shares his knowledge about how to locate crappie using mapping and side imaging and how to then catch those crappie spider rigging with multiple poles. Charlie demonstrates how to use Garmin Livescope to target larger crappie. He also discusses the equipment and baits he uses with this method of crappie fishing.

    Mike, another excellent excellent video. Did you notice one of your poles was going down while you were signing off at the end? Looked like a good fish pulling on it.

    At the end of the video I couldn't help but watch that rod bend, and bend, and bed, then come out of the water.

    Nice video Mike. When I saw all those trees I thought “spider rig”??? Definitely looked like a single pole spot.
    Without telling me exactly where you are fishing, help me pick some areas to fish above Bucksaw. What are you looking for? What kind of area? Creek channels? Flats? How deep? Etc.
    Thanks.

    On the Solix on the bow, how do you have your transducer set up? Is it also on the trolling motor along with the Livescope transducer? I also have the the Solix 12, but cannot seem to find a good way to mount the 3D transducer on the front of the boat.

    • @MikeBakerVideos
      @MikeBakerVideos  4 роки тому +1

      I have the Solix transducer on the bottom of the foot of the trolling motor. The Livescope transducer is above the foot on the shaft.

      Not sure what you mean by “what monitor”. The color palette is black emerald if that is what you mean.

      Can’t really remember. I usually either use a 1/2 or 1 oz.
