If you havent seen it the Mr Crappie Minnow Man - Minnow Bucket holder that you mount on your chair is great too. Keeps some minnows right below your chair. Created by the Jelineks, locals down there at Truman, they also make the Snagless crappie bomb! I dont know them, this isnt like a plug from their buddies, just good products and I like supporting the local guys!
Mike i sincerely ENJOYED watching u rig!!! That's how it all started for me as well and I SURE DO MISS RIGGING MYSELF!!! Thanks for keeping it alive and giving ME the enthusiasm to get my BGJP's back out!!! Thanks!
Another good video! I also enjoy multiple ways of catching crappie! The variety keeps things new as we continue to enjoy some of the older ways. Thank you, Mike
I am having a hard time with the newer technologies. I know it’s the wave of the future. Unfortunately for me and millions of others the cost is too prohibitive. Maybe in the future the costs will come down. I certainly hope the sport doesn’t suffer from folks becoming targeters as opposed to fisherman. You said early on in this video you had the live scope set up for fun and you ended up targeting specific fish. I will still teach my grandkids the fundamentals. Hell most of us can’t read 2d sonar. Lol.
Mike you should try using Active Captain Helm it can record directly to your smart phone on your devices and could take one of the cameras out of the picture to give ya more room.

Good video as usual Mike!

Yep.
Excellent vid! What was the speed you were trolling?
Around .5 mph
What changes in in spider rigging would you expect to make if you fished today? (speed, depth, or location)
Possibly shallower.

Absolutely worth the money. I have never enjoyed fishing more!
