Idk, reflect a little..all the extra he does and lets not forget best mom monday ❤ Wishing all the best to each and everyone of the Crew, old and new.
I had both of my knees replaced this year. Im 57. Best thing I ever did. I went years hobbling around because of my knees. I'm a machinist by trade so I was standing a bunch. Really enjoy the videos.
That's awesome to read, I had no clue we could replace knees and actually live comfortably (relatively so I guess) the same year, what amazing progress we've made in surgery, i'm real glad you took that step and feel better as i've had an ankle killing me for 8 years now, there's hope !
I'm getting my right knee replaced next month. Many years logging, climbing up and down the ladder of the loader with a chainsaw. My last 11 years were doing my dream job. Working as an airplane mechanic and pilot. Fell off an airplane that was on jacks about 4 feet in the air onto concrete. Career ending disability. I'm 68 been hobbling since the 90's. I also bailed out of a loaded log truck that killed my back.
It's a good thing, Eric needed that push to go full time on his own. Ryan, that's a good thing that you do for the industry. Guys retire, crafts never stop being needed, and their needs to he a workforce. Good luck to Eric. Keep us updated .
Going "Full Time" at the END of Concrete season is a Kick in the head !!! Hopefully Eric will find some type of work till spring comes around ..... Then he will be trying to "under-BID" jobs from other crews ... LOL See how THAT works out .......
Your a good man Ryan... you've been giving chances forever! I was never fired from any job because I always put my best foot forward At 61 i can proudly say i don't stand around and do nothing... even if its cleaning the bosses truck out! Which by tbe way.... every concrete worker must be the same as you with the floorboard trash can 😂 And electricians are soo sloppy! But really there is soo much to do on your job site's that nobody should be sitting around doing nothing! You are a great man ❤
Your leadership role is very good and your a amazing role model. I am surprised Eric wasn’t out on his own. I saw all the equipment he’s been getting the past 1-2 years in your videos. Maybe now he’ll be his own boss and show Up when ever
I know a lot of people dislike Eric, and while I don’t agree with all his work ethic / work practices at times I still think he will be missed as another character on Ryan’s videos. Eric in a world full of hate I hope you see this. Thank you for providing many good memories to thousands of people. Best of luck to you in the future and hope to see you succeed in what comes next in life.
Will he?? This entire year he was a background “character” anyways. Flat out lazy and disrepectful on top of that. It was time….Hasn’t been in videos for the past week and was already forgotten about 🤷🏻♂️
It's NOT about a "You Tube" character ..... It's Business , and successful businesses NEED employees to actually SHOW UP, and PERFORM !!!! Personally I think that the little YT Fame has gone to Eric's head..... and he thought he was a STAR, of sorts ..... LOL
Ryans growth has brushed off on the younger guys chasing the dream of having their own business. Ryan set up the foundation and opportunity for these guys to be their own boss
Like you said he is set up for success and YOU Ryan, set him up for success. And you should be very proud of that. And no, I'm not saying him being late numorous times is tolerable. I honestly believe he meant no harm by being late and not showing up. I think his focus may be leaning more towards his business now that hes getting more work. But for you, at a business standpoint, you did the right thing
Sad to see Eric go. Best of luck to him and you as well. It seemed like he was building up to go out on his own. I believe Eric will be there own time for his own work knowing he will get the big money at the end of job. He was a really driven and good employee for you until this season.
Why sad, brought it on himself? Work ethic was terrible, how many times in a video you would see him standing around while everyone else was working. He took advantage of the opportunity and road the coat tails of Victory's success and showed nothing but disrespect in return. Victory will be better off and his replacement will work twice as hard. Time for Eric to reflect and grow up.
All this people talking so low about eric it's jus sad and embarrassing , your hate towards Eric is evident. Instead of just wishing him good luck and thank him for all the times he made you peope laugh or smile or even teach you something, you people only look bad and even trying to kiss Ryan's rear-end

Your own money 💰 Ryan is the best! You grow, you can graduate if you want it, he is a great teacher! Eric just had a hard time with good bye! He's a man now! Thanks two Ryan!!
Eric made his choices and now he needs to live with those consequences..... i know its hard to do but good for u ryan he really was taking advantage of u and youve been more then helpful to your whole crew
Hi Ryan, you handled Eric"s termination with a lot of class I must say. It has been evident for a long time that he had one foot out the door. When he got a taste of making his own money, his attitude went down hill, and he started bringing the whole crew down as well. As a contractor myself for some 40 years, I've had the same experiences that you have had so I know all to well how you feel when the trust factor is broken. The new building is really shaping up and you guys are doing a fantastic job with it. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family and the whole Victory crew. Amen
I agree with you 100%, Scot. Aside from the obvious, the unfortunate thing for Eric if he does go out on his own is that he doesn't know everything he needs to know, in my opinion. There will come that one job (or many) that he's going to either mess up, or not know what to do. If he'd left things better with Ryan, he likely could pick up the phone and ask him for advice. Heck, we all know Ryan would likely still give it to him if he asked, but I would think that Eric would hesitate to make that call now. I saw on a recent video of Eric's (I don't follow his channel but checked it out last week [it was maybe a 'Live" video] when we learned he was on a week off without pay) that he says he has a lot of respect and is grateful to Ryan so at least he's showing some respect now. Perhaps too late.
@@fugitiveracoon676 I don't dislike Eric but I am disappointed. He made a huge mistake career wise. I don't wish him any ill will; I wish things were different but he's made things much harder on himself by burning that bridge. Ryan was good to him, side job referrals, renting equipment, teaching him for 2+ years, etc. Not only that but the friendship, bonuses, endless paid sick days, and so on. Based on what I heard Eric say on that Live video I referred to, I think he knows all this now and is regretting things. It's too bad it took this to make him realize how easy he had it.

A setback is a chance to step up. Sometimes people feel content and stuck in a job and lack the motivation to pursue what they are meant to do. Erik will do fine on his own.
You made the right choice. Don't worry about the way you went about it. I've been watching since you first fired Marcel. Anyone who follows the channel knows why you do what you do. You are a huge inspiration for me. I became a contractor in 2023 after getting laid off and you were one of the biggest reasons why I took the leap.
Eric was the og of this new crew but can’t say I didn’t see it coming. He’ll be fine. He’s doing good with his own work and I’m sure Ryan will keep giving him advice and support.
If he wanted not to burn bridges, he could have called Ryan ahead of time and told him that he was quitting and wouldn't be back, but I think he was still salty about having been sent home, so he decided to do it by just not showing up as you said.
Ryan everything your going through with your employees are “growing pains” just part of business, it’s not on you. Eric and everyone else have been treated more than fair. Easy come, easy go. You’re an American success story, don’t forget it!
Hopefully the economy improves enough by next season that you'll get some extras like more stamping. Missed seeing all the cool designs this season. It was time for Eric to leave the nest. He was playing it too safe and it rolled over to his daily work ethics. All the best to him on his own.

Ryan Jr. is secretly taking out the trash for his videos 😂
Anny gets the day off. What a way to start. I like it.
The best thing for the company and crew
I work for Angi’s List and these videos are so dope. I love seeing your leadership and the respect you give to your guys.
You are a great supervisor and encouraging example , nothing but respect. 45 yrs in the work force and now in the trades as a carpenter for myself ( finish) I love to work. Some guys fight it their entire adult life ? Whatever!
Ryan, you are a very patient small business owner. Continued success and growth!
You're good Ryan you are a person that takes pride in his trade !! Good video guys
Missed a few episodes, love that marcel is back. I always liked him.
Ryan you truly are a great human I look up to you as a role model to be a man and also a good father and a genuine good human being to others god bless you Ryan.
Hey Ryan and Victory crew, Sorry to hear about Eric, he'll be OK, I wish him all the best. That patio turned out pretty nice. Can you imagine back in the day with that older gentleman helping to poor that original patio. You can just see the thoughts going through his head standing there watching. It's like an instant blast from the past for him with all the good memories, I hope. Bless you all
He aint ok haven't you watched his live lol
Sad to see Eric go. Hopefully things will change and he'll be back or he'll keep building his own business. Best of luck.
Good to see Annie back at work Tuesday morning, She should be saying Easy Money
Eric is a great kid!!!! Hes just young still needs to do some more growing up. I was the same way at his age... Wishing you the best Eric
Good to see Marcel back I liked him hard worker too looks like
Ryan you did alot for him and he has to be held resonsible. You are good to all your guys. This may be a good thing for him.
U give bonos u have the right equipment to make everything easier for the guys u buy lunch for them your moms brings them food like I don’t think Eric has experienced enough jobs to realize how good he had it with you 😊
Not gunna reed all dat.
Yes being attacked on social media by a bunch of bozos so Ryan can make money is great job
I'm 54 and I have never had a boss like ryan but belive me if I did I would never try to mess up 😂
@luisvilla34 Ryan isn't a smart business owner. He's really just a worker who got lucky. There's alot, people don't know. Why do you think he has problems with so many employees, he's a joke.
Eric will soon realise the downsides of running your own business 😢😢😢😢
His first day back from suspension he doesn't show up. That was a personal shove it to you Ryan. Passive Agressive 💯. Business is business. Onwards and Upwards.
Don't mix bussiness with friendship
Not sure that's what happened. Ryan said on Monday video "Erik is not coming today" So he knew he wasn't coming. He didn't say "He was supposed to come today"
You don't know all the details, genius, so stop acting like you know everything about the situation. You dolts only get a glimpse of these edited videos and think you know everything about everyones entire personal lives.
@avidadolares Calm down UA-cam tough guy. Obviously my statement offended you enough to react like a little girl, and Obviously you have an affinity for people who oversleep and call in to work constantly. That says alot little girl.
@@repitatl Yes, that's on Tuesday, but on Monday he just said Erik was not coming and didn't mention he was supposed to. The way he said it sounds like he knew Erik wasn't coming.
Hey Ryan When I worked construction I went to the bathroom after work every day #2 some jobs didn't have bathrooms. I did steel work up 2 to 4 stories height When the crane sending beams you don't have time for a bathroom break You give the guys a lot of leeway, you're a good boss. I also had a company doing roofing guys would come on the roof without a tool belt. I said how are you going to work without your tools. I need my tools to work. lol I don't blame you about guys missing time you count on the manpower and you're paying sick time I never got sick time pay. Marcel seems like a good worker I know your season almost over.
38:44 you can see it on your face you didn’t want to fire Eric but he made his choices and you have a business to run. Eric needed this to push him on to greater things. You have given him the tools to succeed, now he has to follow through with his own plans. You’re a great leader Ryan, you push your guys to learn and get better. It’s their choice if they get better.
I would love to work WITH you some time. I feel like I could learn a lot from you.
BEST BOSS EVER! THEY HAVE IT SO GOOD WITH YOU RYAN
Good to see Marcel is still around, he was a good employee in the past and if he stays, he should be a good employee moving forward
No he wasnt 😂 have not seen the video where he was fired?
He’s lazy. I bet you money he leaves when it starts getting hot. Lol😂 he’s been fired multiple times. It’s doesn’t even get that hot up north 😂😂😂😂. Marcelo is not reliable.

Marcels time to shine. He was always overshaded by Bugs imo, but now he is clearly the person who should be given the lead. Cisco will follow suit and you'll have a great time again Ryan.
marcel he is just ending the season with ryan he has other work just it slowed down he will not be ryans go to lead . cisco should step up into that for ryan next season
Marcel got fired at one point over no call no shows so he wasn’t really overshadowed, but you can tell he’s made a real improvement in his work ethic since then sometimes that’s all you need is a reality check to get you doing what you need to do

You do not know what you have until its gone. Some people can realize this before it happens and others have to have it happen to realize it. You have given him many opportunities in life and I hope he can see that and make it right in the future. If you see this Eric we wish you the best and hope you do not lose sight of the fact many people do not get the doors opened for them in life as you have and that's ok, just find a way to do the right thing by those that give those opportunities.
@@khorneflakes2175praying for your ankle from 🇦🇺 god speed

Eric had that coming he took advantage of Ryan every chance he could Ryan is a great guy and boss to the crew
All this people talking so low about eric it's jus sad and embarrassing , your hate towards Eric is evident. Instead of just wishing him good luck and thank him for all the times he made you peope laugh or smile or even teach you something, you people only look bad and even trying to kiss Ryan's rear-end
@fugitiveracoon676 I've been watching the channel since Ryan's been on here Eric did take advantage of Ryan's kindness I wish Eric nothing but the best but he messed up a good thing

It's great to see Marcel is back!
Whoa whoa Can't hide your hate towards Eric uh? It comes out subconsciously
