Matthew is 12 years old and he taking High School Honor classes in 7th grade. He still today remains seizure free. I thank God everyday for the life Matthew has now thanks to finding this great team at Miami Children's Hospital.

Scared mom over here- would love for anyone to reach back and let me know it’s okay to go forward with surgery for our 8 year old little girl. Needing some reassurance that I’m not doing the wrong thing.

Matthew is doing very well. he is taking piano lessons. He has some learning challenges but we are working on them. He is totally seizure free and medicine free since his 2 year eeg. Thank you for asking. Families be sure to always seek the best help you can find for your child. My only recommendation it to the Brain Institute at Miami Children s'.

This is creepy, a priest at my church has epilepsy and is named Matthew, he is having brain surgery tomorrow
I have epilepse and take medication for it, tho it doesnt work all that well... im just too scared to get surgery for my condition as I have heard that you have a chance of actually becoming worse

I had brain surgery two times I have hydrosephalas they put a vp shunt In so I am better now but now I have problems emptying my bladder I am not peeing enough my mom said so I am going to have a camera put up in my bladder so they can find out why I have some blockage.

How can you say that "god" is bullshit? For all we know, god could have created science itself. When I hear a person say that they don't believe in god, I just believe they are not intelligent enough to realize that there are just so many wonders in the world that no amount of science can explain.
