yeah, having surgery for the first time is scary but however you are not aware of anything during that time. you are basically in a coma where you don't know anything. also your brain stops working so you can't feel anything, talk or move or both. and also they are always monitoring you to make sure that you don't die or make sure everything is fine.

Poor kid. I was scared to death before my first surgery too! It's okay to be a little scared. Just know that the doctors and nurses are doing it to help you. I'm sure that they were telling him that it's going to be okay!

I started crying when this little boy cried, I just wanted to hug him, poor kid, I hate seeing children scared.
I had seizure surgery crying for my mom in 16 was 15 when I got it done I'm so much of a cry baby now high blood pressure and heart palpitations or heart skipping beats etc and panic attacks that I pass out from and no service dog around and a diabetic plus more it's very dangerous for me to pass out

Even I had the same experience when i was treated with surgery for the first time...now will be ready to face if i had to go through such situation as at the end u will be fine and good after the same which i finally understood after sometime... Every child will be scared in this situation. Parents cannot tolerate the tears of their children and children cannot tolerate the separation from their parents that's why they become scared and cry. Every rule is made by man. I think, in case of any surgery of kids parents should be allowed in OT until the children are given anesthesia. Yes, it happened, during my child case. I requested the doctor to allow one of us(parents )in OT, because my child feels so nervous and lonely. The doctor was also kind hearted, salute to him. That doctor realized my feelings and allowed my husband in OT with my child. Then my child went to OT with his father with no tears at all❤

I immediately closed my eyes and i fell asleep,but in my dream,i saw heaven and god saying:You are too young to die, remember that from me,you have got a lot of potential,and i woke up in my mom's hands.
