As far as I’m concerned, there’s no sound Adam can’t make. He’s probably the best beatboxer out there that does this stuff.

If I'm not mistaken, I read on another couple of reactions that Adam is a 3 time world champion in beatboxing! Don't quote me for sure, but I'm pretty sure that's what I remember seeing.
@@chrismorin1318 That is misinformation. He has competed only locally and has won in Midwest championships. He has been too busy with Home Free to travel around the world to compete.
But he definately is the best beatboxer in a vocal band!
I'm a friend of Adam's and he was over this weekend. I asked him about the harmonica sound and he did it for me. It's real!
They are killing every song they perform. Beatboxer is fire. Tim the Bass has a 5 octave range. Unreal group
You can't go wrong with any Home Free song. "Can't Outrun You" is a great one. Just a suggestion, do a few videos before you get to their cover of "Mayday"".
All their songs, covers and originals, are amazing and all without instruments, all the sounds, percussion, etc are their vocals. You need to dive down the rabbit hole and do more Home Free!

Great reaction!! I just subbed. You should see what they do with Keith Urban's "Blue Ain't Your Color" or Maren Morris's "My Church" if you like country. They do a great job on Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop The Feeling and "Helplessly Hoping" by Crosby, Stills and Nash. They are great as a country band, but that doesn't stop them from performing almost all types of music. Can't wait until you watch "The Butts Remix". ... Guy

Adam Rupp is an unparalleled beat boxer and has won the international competition several times. Tim Foust, Bass to tenor, has the lowest notes growled in a Capella and a 5+ octave range. Austin Brown, high tenor is smooth and can hit some very high notes, Love Train is a good one for that. Rob Lundquist, tenor, has some great riffs and soul to his voice, he sings lead in the Boys to Men song, End of The Road. The baritone used to be Chris Rupp, you can see him in their Ring Of Fire video. The newest member and Baritone/bass is Adam Chance, he has some amazing solos in some of their other videos.

Do You Hear What I Hear, was filmed in an Ice Castle in Eden Prairie Minnesota. The arrangement is by their beat boxer. I highly recommend that and Let's get it on/thinking out loud mash up from their early days. The Butts Remix is hilarious. These guys have a great sense of humor. They filmed a video in the Austrian Alps that actually has Adam sing, How Great Thou Art. Enjoy your journey. P.S. Tim has been helpful to Avi Kaplan to be able to sing lower.

Home free won the sing off one season after pentatonix and home free is considered country acapella but they cover many different genres you should check out their cover boyz 2 men end of the road
For a little of everything(rock-country-rap) try their Butts Remix. They are amazing. I like them as much as PTX too.
Home Free is one of my absolute favorites. You really can't go wrong with anything they do. I'd start with Ring of Fire, though.

Buddy, you’re missing out if you haven’t heard much of their stuff. I have plenty of suggestions! I will say, get a bit more familiar with them before/ if you are going to react to Mayday. It will screw your mind a bit if you are more familiar with them. Lol recommendations: Ring of Fire w/Avi Kaplan and Elvira w/the oak ridge boys.

Found your channel when I saw a reaction to Home Free. They are awesome and their talent is unbelievable, I have seen them perform this song live in concert and it was as good as the video if not better. Glad you are checking these guys out, and loved this video! To see more of their different parts I'd suggest Can't Stop the Feeling & Do You Hear What I Hear, but some of my favs include Summer in the Country, Woman Amen/Female & Friends in Low Places. They have been putting out new covers every other week during quarantine, which includes a cover of the Kenny Roger's classic The Gambler. But as many have suggested please do not react to Mayday until you have a good sense of these guys (both with Chris & his replacement [Adam] Chance) & don't get them confused. In this video was Rob, Chance, Austin, Adam & Tim, but any video before summer 2016 was Chris. Enjoy the rabbit hole that is Home Free. Also just to clarify. Pentatonix won season 3 (2011) of the tv show The Sing Off & had only come together as a group in 2011. Home Free won season 4 (2013) of The Sing Off & the group had started in 2000 but the line up that they won with was established in 2012.
Did you shed a tear when they were singing "God Bless the USA?" I sure have. My dad was in the USA USArmy for over 30 years, both brothers-in-law are army also (one back from deployment just a couple of weeks ago) and my nephew is on his first assignment with the navy.
You may enjoy Home Free's cover of "Everybody walkin' this land." For a Home free original, "Champagne taste on a beer budget" is great. So is their "Country-Fried Pop Medley." Their quarantine songs are fabulously with "Quarantine" and "Meet in the Middle" being my favorites so far, aside from the aforementioned "God Bless the USA."

Welcome to Home Free! These 5 guys are the best of the best! They have 4 guys that can all sing lead at any given time! Yes, the beat boxer was making the harmonica sound with just his mouth...no instrument ! I have seen this live and its even more amazing because Austin (lead here) joins in on harmonica sound just before Tim (the bass) starts singing! It is worth checking out! I would suggest their cover of My Church or Some Girls Do! I just hit the sub button...hoping for more HF reactions!

They started out soul/pop, now more country-ish/soul/pop & amaazing, L7VE! All very tall 6-6'4", all take turns at lead, songwriters, composers, arrangers, muklti-instrumentalists (tho everything is a cappella)..They're kind, hilarious & crazy multi-talented

He's really making the harmonica sound with his mouth. I've seen him do it in concert front row where I had a good perspective. If you like their harmonies you need to check out their cover of "Country Roads".
You should definitely listen to more of their music. Adam can make any sound, they all have beautiful voices, & their bass (Tim) has blown speakers at concerts. They also have a lot of fun. You should check out the Butts Remix.
Their bass tim faust is crazy talented and has a full 5 octave range and has routinely blown out speakers across the nation on tour with the power and depth of his lows! You should check out his duet of misty mountains!

I have been to 6 of their concerts and they are even better live. They did a harmonica sound duet live. Tim Foust, the bass singer, makes your body and chair vibrate. You can't get that on video.
They did a cover of Ring of Fire that features Avi from Pentatonix. He also makes a cameo is Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget. He and Tim from Home Free have been friends for years. But yes, more Home Free please!

Adam is a 2 time Boxbeat world champion every instrument you hear is from adam
they won the sing off,the next year after pentatonix won it. Both groups are amazing, and they are friends
LOVE this movie. i just watched it last Sunday. But I’m now tempted to watch it again lol. The one family friend of ours. Their two twin sons sang this with another friend of theirs I think a long time ago when they were in school. For a choir concert. I don’t remember a whole lot of it. But I do remember sitting there. And they were hilarious. They dressed up how George Clooney and the other two of the trio were dressed in this scene. And then did the small dance they do in the scene too with the linked arms. I don’t know what you’d call it do si do kinda thing? Lol.
Two other acapella groups are Voice Play and Voctave. Check them out.
Another great a cappella group is Voice Play, and their bassist Geoff is insane like Tim here from Home Free.
From what i understand they had 1 member replaced since their inception. but current line up is Austin (high Tenner), Rob (2 Octave Harmony Tenner with Glasses), Adam Rupp (the beat boxer who can also harmonize and also beat boxes with other members to create multiple percussion's for music and i think is a Championship beat boxer), Chance (4 Octave Baritone) and the the is Tim "the Beast" Foust their 5 Octave Bass who can also sing tenner. These guy's are just fun to listen to^^b have fun going down the rabbit hole if you decide to dig further. say hi to the other Home Fries (Home Free fans!) ;P
matthew graham actually several in their 20+ years. Chris left in 2016 and he help3d form the group with his brother Adam.

these guys have been out for a number of yrs and they have a large number of covers i havent heard anything from them that i don't like. they cover most genre's but hover mainly around country, blue grass, R & B, Gospel, and some hip hop too. Some i think you would get a huge kick out of i think prolly would be >>> Ed Sheeran/ Marvin Gaye mashup "Thinking out loud/ Let's get in on", The Butts Remix (fun mashup of multiple songs), "Hill Billy Bone", "Your Man", "In the Blood" ( John Mayer cover), and i think "My Church".
