I love adding the loop resistance bands when training the hip muscles! It can be so effective and challenging! It’s also very affordable for people to use on their own at home!

What is the difference if one places the resistance band on the ankles for these exercises instead of the knees? Harder? Easier? Targeting different muscles?
@@user-qd3ni5zw9l Does NOT answer my question. I know she said to place it above the knees and if you'd like it to be easier, move it up. She didn't mention down around the ankles.
@@drkristieennis Thank you. I have strong legs, but due to hip arthritis, have a muscle imbalance causing pain in hip flexors and achilles tendonitis. I performed these exercises with the band on my ankles and I'll keep doing them. Thanks.
I was assaulted by a box 3 times and it damaged my sciatic nerves in my left leg and hip. Usually stern numbness but I’m prescribed 400mg of Gabapentin and 750mg of Methocarbamol for a week and my numbness has lessened. Now that I’m more mobile. Any suggestions on exercises I could do to strengthen without further damaging my injury (I work at Amazon)?

The lower the band is the more difficult it will become
