Dr Ennis, your tutorials are the best on the internet as they combine Yoga, Pilates, Athletic stretches and others. It is good to find someone who is not centred on one way of doing 'wellness'. Thank you changed my life
What a blessing these stretching movements are! Thank you Dr. Kristie. Now I need to work on being consistent in doing them. Greetings from Chicago, IL
This is just what I needed. Thank you so much. I’m an overdoer. I’ve been averaging 20,000 steps and 10 miles a day for the past few days between workouts and yard work and walking 13 minute miles. My back has bee reminding me it needs some help. This is just what the doctor ordered. You are truly amazing
As I've said before Doc (on similar if your vids) how good these are. TY I was at my 2nd neuro physio appointment (MS) yesterday and I was asked to show what I did for my back pain. I did these! And she said "what you do are advanced stretches, well done". I thank you for guidance in here 👍👏🙏
Hey Dr. Ennis, I missed this video with music, but, found this very informative and helpful! Thanks for all you do! Blessings to you and your family, Kevin Barron
Hey there, Dr. Ennis. Love your videos and try to watch every one you put out. As a suggestion/request, I am a senior but in pretty good shape, considering. I do a lot of horseback riding and bicycling and while I am not sure if you are familiar with the muscles and joints that come in play while mounting, riding, etc. I wonder if you could do a video that would focus on the parts of the body used heavily in those activities? Thanks.
Noticed those complaints about the music on the earlier version. It didn't bother me, personally, but it's impressive how responsive you were to commentary from those viewers. Class act, as always.
You have very beautiful skin apart from the exercises you do , your diet you take good care of it and it shows..Your exercises are very practical and great. I combine it with swimming and long walks in the forest i am 45 years old and i am at my weight and very elastic.food is very important. My diet is Mediterranean ,for me is the best because of ist variety . Un saludo desde España gracias por tus videos Kristi.😀🤸♂😘
@drkristieennis Dr. Ennis, I love your videos and have been watching them for a couple of years. I’ve been to PT and MD and just could not get over my back pain. I didn’t think of it as chronic, but it was. It was also Neuroplastic. I just learned about pain reprocessing therapy reading the book, “The Way Out.” I wish someone had told me that I had Neuroplastic pain and no amount of PT would heal me bc there was nothing wrong with my body. I encourage you to do a video on chronic pain explaining the phenomenon of Neuroplastic pain. This understanding would have saved me years of trying to heal my body that wasn’t broken. Now I can work out to get strong and stay healthy instead of working out to try to relieve pain.
I am slowly healing from an L4L5 disc bulge and dehydrated disc. I had immense sciatica in my right leg for the past 4 months. Just the last week or so ive been improving. Are these exercises ok for me to do, especially the twisting one? Thank you in advance for a response.
@@drkristieennis thank you so much for your reply. And yes, I will consult with my pain management doctor by showing him your video. I'm so glad I found your channel.
I have a question. Constantly had back pain the last time I went to my doctor he did a xray and MRI and found out I have a bulge in my lower back. Would this be a great exercise to do for that pain problem?
It very much depends on how the disc is bulging and if that is the cause of your symptoms. It would be good to run it by your doctor as flexion can make things either better or worse.
Victor, I'm going out on a limb here, but I think you're implying that you don't really want to chop wood. Otw I think you would have said your back prevents you from chopping...yes or no? ;)
Just reposted Friday’s video without music 😊

Threading the needle Dr. Kristie really helps loosen up the back.
Excellent!

As symptoms and how the disc herniates is different for everyone, it would be good to check with your doctor.

What was the deal with the music? I saw part of this yesterday but I don’t get what was the issue. Did the music make it hard to hear?
I had a fair amount of people say they had difficulty hearing so I took out the music:)
I like all of these, but whenever possible I find it much more refreshing to do a pandiculation instead of the simple stretch.
Is your middle initial "P" by chance? Kristie P Enis?
My lower back is what gets me from cutting firewood
Hope this can help you!

Hi

Fantastic!
