Genuinely one of the best tutorials I have ever seen. Quick to the point, very informative on what to do in multiple circumstances, and entertaining too. Unfortunately, the game I was trying to fix is so old that nothing works correctly on it. Still, thanks for the video!

DO not use regedit if you have NVidia GPUs, Instead use the Nvidia settings, theres a force fullscreen there
where in nvdia settings as i dont even know how to get my game into rege edit also the game is prison archect btw

the application doesnt work for pal world now, the game will show in full screen with native resolution if you have 4k resolution.
What about exclusive full screen though?... I know some engines, like Unity apparently, just don't support it in general. But really no way to force it?...
And I'm talking about the kind of full screen that's not just making the application fill the screen, but it actually "switches" to it. You know, how it does that "laggy" thing when tabbing out of and into a game. That's also when you can use different resolutions and it will actually render at a different resolution from native, which is why I want to use exclusive full screen.
so some gmes are stuck at 720p and changing in game does nothing on windowed and on full screen, any ideas?

Thank you for this tutorial, i'm encountering another problem, the game is indeed fullscreen, but it's centered and half the screen is black, game is minimalized in the center, any idea how to fix that ?
Downloaded Star Wars Rebellion off Steam. Only plays in windowed mode. Tried changing settings in Compatibility Mode, Colors and Resolution. Got it to full screen but the colors messed up. Downloaded Borderlessgaming, added the app. Same size window and the rest of my screen is now black. Any help?

Seems like I've got a really stubborn game, 'cause neither method works. The registry stuff reset to the initial values once I ran the game, and borderless gaming stopped working once I got to the title screen. I even tried to keep forcing borderless gaming onto it while it was open, but it would be fullscreen for like a single frame before returning to the original resolution. Seems like this dev really thoroughly forced the game into that resolution for some reason, I'm probably out of luck.

By just changing the screen resolution into 800X600 works excellent. After that I changed it back. Didn't needed to download anything

This is sorta unrelated, but does anyone know how to make a game have higher quality resolution at fullscreen? I downloaded this one game and it only runs good HD quality resolution in windowed at 1024x576, but my monitor is 1920x1080. When I try to fullscreen the game, it goes low quality?? How do I fix this?? Would I still need to follow this video? The game is able to run fullscreen but the quality is LOW and it sucks.

Gotta love supernova player for flash games. How does that work for it? Any ideas on how to get supernova player to fullscreen?
i am developing a game with rpg maker mv (1280 * 720) and when i play my game and go fullscreen mode it's blurry as fuck. But when i downscale my monitor's resolution to 1280 * 720 it's crystal clear. However. I don't want the players to manually change their display resolution whenever they play my game. Do u have an idea how to fix that issue? (its JavaScript)

Just window and maximize not working for fullscreen. ;)
I tried this and it didn't work right. But the bigger problem now is that it won't revert back to a windowed state. It's not a unity game. How do i turn it back to the original state? I have uninstalled the borderless gaming program and uninstalled the game I was using. I then reinstalled the game, but it still has full screen and not correctly either. What do i do to get it back to the way it was before?

Although the solution presented in the video was different from what I needed, but it was pretty informative, one reference you made on alt+enter solved my problem. It had to do with the latest version of psych engine on friday night funkin' where sadly I couldn't play on fullscreen when pressing the key "f", although it worked on older versions of the engine, then when I used the combination of alt+enter it actually worked. I really appreciate your help, even if it was coincidencial.
