Easy Homemade Vegan 🍫 Ice Cream🍦(no ice machine, no banana, no coconut) BEST plant-based ICE CREAM

- The best plant-based ice cream! We tried all dairy-free ice cream recipes out there. Nicecream: nice if you like bananas, coconut: strong coconut flavor, cashews: super expensive and fatty, and we didn’t like the consistency of most of these.
But we also didn’t want to use an ice cream maker.
We wanted an easy and quick recipe that is plant-based, high in protein, healthy, sugar-free, low in fat, oil-free, gluten-free, and tastes better than any dairy-based ice cream.

This is probably the most advanced ice cream as it’s pretty healthy (check our whole food plant-based ingredients) and it doesn’t melt as fast as regular ice cream thus more time to enjoy it!
👨🍳 Best Plant-Based Chocolate Ice Cream Recipe Ingredients🍦
1 can chickpeas, drained
1 cup dates, pitted (about 6 Medjool dates)
1 ½ cup soy milk, oat milk or any other plant-based milk
½ cup peanut butter (or other nut and seed butters)
6 oz (170 g) dairy free chocolate (I use a dark 70% chocolate, sugar-free - sweetened with dates)

Wow, what a recipe, I wasent sure about chick peas in ice cream but it's an amazing texture & you can't taste the chick peas . I did have to add some maple syrup and spoon of cocoa as I only had a 100 grams bar of chocolate and was short about 4 dates . Definitely the best recipe I've made for ice cream , it good for vegans.💗🍦🍫💖💗

Not a fan of bananas so I started making something similar...mocha ice scream using frozen black beans and sweet potato, ice coffee, cocoa, dates, and hemp hearts. Pretty yum, but this looks great too!

Can you remember measurements please?
@@ljones1908 didn't really measure but guessing a cup each of beans, sweet potatoes, coffee, and dates, 1/4 cup or more to taste cocoa powder, and a couple tablespoons of hemp hearts or soaked cashews, and blend well. If you need more liquid you can add a little plant milk, or ice if you want it thicker.

This is great, thanks, because bananas make me cough so I think I’ve developed a sensitivity to them but once in awhile it’s so nice to have a frozen healthy dessert!

so simple , !!! compared to the others, Pressure cooker, as if everyone has a Pressure cooker, !!!## , and overnight, and cook and hand whisk . so simple specially if you have children in summer dish.

I love the recipe because i was wondering if chick peas would work for homemade healthy ice cream. Now i know i can try it and not worry about it not working out. I had a feeling with the right flaviring you wouldn't taste the chick peas and that that they would give it a good rich texture. Im thinking you could use vanilla or coconut or pineapple or mango or strawberry and make some other good içe creams too.

@epicmintleaves Thanks for all of your easy to follow recipes. Once this ice cream is made, is the difference between storage option 1 and 2 simply the amount of time kept in the freezer? (you mentioned putting it in the fridge, but I assume that's an oversight. The 1st option being soft serve, and the 2nd hard scoop?

It's a chocolate sweetened with date sugar.
