My first concert was Dolly Parton at the Universal Amphitheatre in '78. Eddie Rabbitt opened for her. He was AMAZING! When he finished his set the audience was cheering for him to come back out. He did and played Every Which Way But Loose.(which was the same year the movie came out) I was 11 but to this day it's vividly memorable. Eddie Rabbitt was an awesome entertainer and human being.

Happy for you. You were very fortunate to have been raised in an era when women actually appreciated decent men who made a genuine effort to court them. Nowadays, a female won't even look at a guy or give him the time of day unless he is at least six feet tall, handsome, rich, successful, well-connected, and has a full head of hair and a chiseled physique. Fortunately, more and more men everyday are discovering the goldmine of lovely women who are still waiting to be had overseas. Still, I feel particularly sorry for young men growing up in the West today.

Beautiful music from the 50's to the mid-80's, then it pretty much went downhill from the mid-90's and onward.
Then, a new generation came along who were angry, jaded, and held very little hope for the future.
One young man in his twenties told me "I hate my generation's music". I replied "Your generation is the first of its kind to feel that way".

When he sings, "She looks too beautiful to touch...", if you look at women that way and feel the feeling it evokes, and keep thinking and feeling this way, I guarantee you, you will have women, and most likely woman who are ultra attractive. When you think of women as precious and priceless, you will inevitably be with one. If you haven't had fortune with woman as you would like, this drop's for you.

I'd just been baptized when this song charted on the Country and Pop charts (10/03/81); later it was his ninth #1 C&W and second Top 5 Hot100 single! Though it was originally the flip side of "I Love A Rainy Night" (single Elektra 40667; 1980s Horizon LP!), it was later issued via Capital Records; from the self title album that Fall!!

My baptism was 27 days prior: 9/6/81, I was almost 14 years old on October 3 and in the 8th grade: this I saw on the weekly show: Solid Gold with Ed McMahon!!

Mr. Rabbitt should've been telling me about The Lord in both verses: "Wanna make a move? You better make it now; Don't be afraid 'cause The Lord will show you how" and "He can see something in your eyes; But you will never know until you try"!!

It's a very true song. I sung it to the most beautiful woman in the world back in 81 I did all he says in the song. And I was blessed with her heart and love. Not a day doesn't go by I dont think of her. Her beautiful red hair. My god I almost died in her arms 25 years later. You know. It would have been worth my last breath in my body. Rhonda lloyd I will love u till I die. My time is about over but when I leave this world. I'll take ur beautiful face with me and most of all the love I've have for you.
