Forgot to mention the analog covers! They are from Skull & Co, I purchased two sets to get the matching green but you only need one set to have the "FPS pro" configuration. They help make the analog sticks easier to reach and make up for the low placement, definitely helps with comfort: amzn.to/3e8v00o Stay tuned! I'm working on quite a bit of content 😊🙂 Thank you for all of the support! 🤗
People crap on the Win600, but it's only real flaw is pricing. It looks nice and from what I've seen, through all these videos, it plays well. Cool video RTD👍
I love this Handheld. I play Final Fantasy XIV on Standard Laptop graphics and runs great. I do want to know if your power bank works cause I plug mine and it doesn’t charge it
Just go slow, it's not difficult to reach the APU. You will need to remove the fan but it's only a couple of screws. The nice thing about MX-4 is that it's non-conductive so you don't necessarily need to be as cautious when applying it, but a pea sized amount should suffice.
Wowwww, I can’t believe I’ve never seen that controller until now. You have seriously just changed my world. I’ll be grabbing one of them and I have a feeling it’s going to make an appearance at some point. 🤣😀 Thank you commenting and sharing here!
@@retrotechdad No problem. THANK YOU for cover the win600 like this. Theres hardly any presence of it on UA-cam that isn't a review shitting on the damn thing.
@@retrotechdad All good so far. After Ark and MH World...I figured that 256gb would be near empty lol. Add Witcher 3 and it's dead. I'll stick to Switch Ark (new update) and Witcher to save space on win600. Got a 1tb micro in switch. I plan to record games people seem to not care about recording. Dungeon Siege 2.....Phantasy Star Online (gamecube) havent seen anyone do Morrowind yet. Hellgate London....Lost Planet 2....Freedom Force lol all the games that I want to be mobile pretty much. To hell with what people wanna see. Lol. Age of Empires 2....now THAT would be a good one.
When you upgrade the storage is there any steps you need to follow? I have a Win600 coming that already has 16gb of RAM. Was thinking up upgrading the storage from 256gb to either 1TB or 2tb
It's not too bad, you need to remove the back cover which is probably the hardest part because of how much force you will need to get it off. Other than that, I'd recommend getting a USB drive ready with the Anbernic Win 10 image from their website: win.anbernic.com/index.php/download/169.html
Can you use mouse and keyboard for the win600? I asked for this for Christmas so I could not only play steam game but also some ps2 gamecube emulation. Also can u use any type of hdmi dock to dock to tvs for pc mode? *update* Got this for Christmas and wanted to know if you need a pc monitor or can I use my TV As monitors with a dock?
Yes, you can use a mouse and KB (definitely get a dock). It does wonders when doing configuration for emulators and what not. Yes, I've tested it with multiple USB Type-C adapters and docks with HDMI out, it works great! Enjoy your Christmas gift! 🙏🤗
Hi , first time viewer. What a great story. Could you please update the external battery review and did you add the Ali Express ram, cant seem to find it. Thanks

For USB storage for Batocera I went with this thing, BUFFALO External SSD 1TB Unfortunately it's not small like the other USB drives, but it's legit 1tb (I've filled mine)
Can you make a tutorial on how to change the SSD? Cause you will need to install the Operation System in the new SSD right? And I have no clue on how to do it
I've been using a dock made for the Steam Deck that is perfect for the Win600. They both have their USB-C charging ports on the top and so it's a good match. The Win600 sits perfectly in it and this one adds 3 additional USB-A ports, HDMI, and pass through for power. It makes it nice and easy when doing config in Windows/batocera. amzn.to/3AAgVAG Thanks for commenting!
Yes it’s true I did 32gb 2666 in mine and then you can dedicate 8gb of it to vram and still have plenty left over. Made a noticeable difference especially for ps2 games, I think it’s the way to go vs 16. Mine is the 3050 I assume it’s the same for the 3020
At the moment I was choosing between the win600 and the Steam Deck....there is 1 main reason I picked the win600. Lesser power. For me, I grew up taking old laptops and maxing out their hardware (hd....ram) and tweaking games to get them running smooth on hardware they shouldnt run on. The fact Steam Deck will just....run games near perfect out the gate...was a turn off to me. Nothing will be exciting. Launch game...play game. If I install a game that shouldnt run on the win600 and get it to work good....now that feels exciting. Like you're breaking the rules. Plus the Steam Deck felt like I was holding a skateboard in my hands lol.
Other than very specific reason like yours, this device is a hard sell at the price point, great for windows indie games (biggest plus since no other device at price range can do this) but that's about it, you can get better device for emulation, or steam deck is miles ahead better hardware and can do everything much better (including indie games) for just a bit more money, but yeah steamdeck is a big boy ahhaha so I would not be taking it out to play outside it's just to big and for sure form factor and portability goes for the win 600.
@@AppNasty I've still on the hype phase with my steam deck, but I've invested more hours playing old mame/PS2/gamecube emulation on it than actual AAA games lol

💯agree. I keep saying if Anbernic can get the pricing down a little on this, they will sell a lot more of them.

I'm counting that the price will fall a lot by the end of the year.

It only works via USB c power delivery so a USB A to USB c connection won't work, hope it helps:)
Thanks for the case recommendation. Does anyone know how to set a button to be the Xbox home button while doing remote play?
Oh very interested in adding the thermal paste. Any tips on doing it?
I will be uploading a video soon doing the thermal repaste.

Any screen protector and case to use on this?
It really works with a regular power bank? It does not have to be a special for laptop one?
Hi, if I have 16 gb of ram with 3200hz, on which one should I set stock to 1600 or 1800?
How many more hours of gameplay can you get with this Power Bank you showed in the video?

What was the game playing in the intro?
Awesome shmup called Ginga Force, it's available on Steam right now for $3.99! store.steampowered.com/app/885910/Ginga_Force/
