Dear mister David Lynch:
Thanks so much for creating these amazing worlds filled with mystery, darkness, but also with beautiful lights and an endearing hope, which will keep us remembering your legacy, forever

His interpretation of love in his films always has me bawling. 💔🥹
I think they should recreate this at the Oscars ceremony. In remembrance of Angelo and David
Coming here after Mr. Lynch's death... Cathartic

Diane, I'm in my living room and I just discovered the most fitting piece of music ever created to accompany a slice of pie.
And of course, Diane, what a slice of cherry pie would be without a nice, warm cup of coffee

"That's pretty black."
Also, I just realized writing this, that "Blue rose?" "Doesn't get any bluer." Is these two lines directly linking the two eras of Twin Peaks

I’m in tears, I can’t believe he’s gone. 💔
First Angelo, which I STILL haven't gotten over and now his "brother" David😭
To me, Twin Peaks and it’s theme will always symbolize the beginning of the 90s.
Gen-X cursed to be forgotten for all time :(
Ohhh YES!
Genaration haunted by twin peakes and IT :)
Early '90s: the end of the sweet illusion of the' 80s. Grunge born after '80s death.
Yeah, I agree. This really was the first digital phenomena. So many boards. So much speculation. So dark and edgy. So much promise. The Return could not be any better as a denouement. Lynch is one of the few modern artists who have kept my attention. Gibson is another.
He will never know how much his work has changed me, but that's okay. He lived the art life, and he achieved greatness.
He knows.

Lynch did not create a TV show - he produced a piece of art - it was all perfect including this!

It’s incredible the amount of love that people from all over the world are expressing for this good man David Lynch that we all loved, he touched so many souls. Fly high dear David.
This is, excuse me, a DAMN fine piece of music.
Rest in peace to David, Angelo and all the cast and crew that have departed. 💔❤️
The twin peaks sound track evokes an emotion that I’ve never felt before and that I can’t even describe. I feel relaxed and then suddenly the drop causes this feeling deep in my stomach, then just as I’m settled in with this new heavy feeling the swells envelope my whole body in this feeling that is somewhat like an extremely intense melancholy. When the song finishes I’m left feeling like I miss someone that I’ve never met.
The feeling of missing someone you’ve never met...SO spot on. Completely agreed!!! That statement made me want to cry
Same feeling
wonderfully written!
It soooooo true!
Well put
RIP David... Thank you for everything!!
This is a pure celebration of Twin Peaks. It illustrates the show’s dark, painful core of the tragic death of Laura Palmer but swells in bitter-sweetness because looking beyond the dark secrets of the town shows you the best of humanity and what it means to take joy in the small things, like a slice of cherry pie.
YES, and a damn fine cup of coffee to go with. 😊☕
Good good
It also has beautiful love story of man torn between his longing and sense of duty and wise matron who gave her wealth to remain true to her roots.
The show is not dark in modern meaning. Modern "dark: shows are fking garbage. They are cynical and "realistic". Twin Peaks is anything but cynical. It's very cozy and heartwarming
@@BigChiken44 anything but realistic, too 😂 😂 so weird, but so fucking great

I am dismissing all classes for the day, but before we leave, I would like to ask each of you to join me in a moment of silence for David Lynch and his dear memory. Oh, God...
🥺💔🙏🏼
I've always loved the theme music, but holy moly, this orchestra elevated it to a new level. Incredible.
I prefer the original. the loud explosions in this orchestrated version are not really in the spirit of Twin Peaks. It is amazing, but it doesn't capture the dark, mysterious, melancholic tone as well as the original because it became something loud and monumental.
@@xaositectzright, but the show didn't just come out. We are in retrospect, and the loud and epic tone of this is perfect for paying homage to a wonderful series. I wouldn't want something like this used for the show for all the reasons you mentioned, but that's now where we are hearing this.
Search up David Lynch being a madman for a relentless 8 minutes and 30 seconds if you haven't already seen it. It starts out as a funny video, but ends as a love letter to his work and uses this rendition (at least I believe so) and it's perfectly used.
Why am I crying listening to this, why do I have goosebumps...
Same reasons I do.
I feel nostalgic, I was Young then when this came out😢
Me too, i cant work out whether its tears of happiness or sadness, maybe its both
Because in a world of ugliness, it's a thing of beauty.
Oh Angelo, you're breaking my heart...Rest in peace
Quite possibly the greatest series ever made. The theme is also insane
Extremely fitting intro. Transport you to another plane of existence.
It’s like a crusade with everyone I talk to to watch this series.
Season 1 from beginning to end is a masterpiece, and parts of season 3 are great. Fire Walk With Me is great too. Season 2 is weak and I'm sorry, a lot of Season 3 is filler. It should not have been 18 episodes.
@@suburbanindie I liked the first half of the 3rd season more. And even though the second season was weaker it had some great episodes or even one of the best episodes of the entire series.the last few episodes of season 2 were absolutely amazing. And in my humble opinion the episode in which Laura's father kill Laura's cousin and Cooper is at the bar listening to Julie Cruise is the best moment of the entire series.
@@suburbanindie 2nd season was made without David Lynch - that's why. And the studio totally buried the very idea of "who killed Laura Palmer?".
They left a bunch of unrelated stupid stories. They added cruelty instead of mysticism, added a new antihero who embodied not absolute evil, but a personal enemy of Agent Cooper. And this is a completely different concept. And it turned out to be complete nonsense.
Lynch made a masterpiece and a legend! He is genious.
I was waiting so much for the 3rd season to see how he will resurrect his original idea, but I was afraid very much at the same time that this part would turn into counting those who were still alive from the actors, and how old they became..
But he really surprised me in a good way. He made totally another thing! Even more mystical, dark, intriguing, and the end was shocking... I guess now he HAS TO make the 4th part to explain himself ))))))))
Thank you Mr. Lynch 🤍

The power of Lynch, the pathos of Badalamenti... This is human emotion distilled. Terror and beauty, dancing in the moonlight.
Dont know why but I always get so weirdly emotional listening to this. Maybe its because I love twin peaks so much or that the music is so beautiful and sad. I think Angelo created the most wonderful music ever for tv and film with his twin peaks soundtracks and this beautiful orchestral version just makes me appreciate it even more.
in 1989 i used to play this on a synth in my college bedroom. The strings always sounded so beautiful. My house mate in the next room used to read a book and enjoy me playing it. Happy days.
