- A couple quick 5 minute hotlaps at Spa Francorchamps in Assetto Corsa Competizione. Trying to get faster and not my best driving, but it was fun at the very least!
I've also made up a sort of DIY button box from a 24 key macro keyboard with some cheap keycaps and some cut out printer paper.
And, I've got a phone on the side as a DIY sim dash.
AND, I've added a Dayton 50w bass shaker under my seat! I'm hoping to continue to upgrade by adding more shakers and potentially putting the rig on springs. But one thing at a time I suppose.

Hello there! From what I've seen in a couple of laps here, your biggest mistake is you're not using the entirety of the track, and don't be so scared to throw the care around more and use the curbs on the parts of the track where you obviously can. Also try braking always in a straight line, especially last turn and T1. GL!
Hmmm interesting. I think you're right eh. I tend to push the car harder when there's other cars on the track but tend to hold back when I'm alone. Also yeah, I guess I've been more anxious about cutting the track but I'll give that more attention. Not turning while braking is actually good advice that I haven't heard, and it seems obvious, but it's definitely something I will need to work on to maintain stability and control. Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it!
i think the record here 2:14 keep practicing bro 2:20 will be decent
Ha, really eh? I had no idea. I guess 2:10 is a pipe dream then haha. Thanks!
☝2:20 is a good target, takes a while to break for most of us :)
watch some track tutorial
this is great advice btw... & if attention span is an issue, just watch 1 sector at a time.. it works well on 1 or 2 tracks then the signs are easier to spot on all tracks... so basically, all we learn is whereabouts to brake & how far track limits can be pushed, which leads to better exits & more consistency = faster laps
Hey, that's a good idea haha
That's fair advice. I didn't think about watching a track break down. I'll have to do that!
