  • Today we are looking at what I eat in a day as a college cross country and track & field athlete. This was my first time actually tracking my calories for the day, so I hope you guys enjoy it. Let me know in the comments who I should shout out in the next video!

    What mileage are you running? Do you always eat about the same amount?

      I’m running about 65 miles a week. My diet doesn’t fluctuate a ton based upon the mileage that I’m running. Usually my intensity increases as I run fewer miles, so I’m usually burning around the same amount of calories.
      I try to stick to a lot of protein and greens (spinach, kale, chicken, steak, broccoli, green beans, onions, etc). That’s what allows me to fuel my runs and stay lean while still working out at the gym a couple times a week. I usually avoid tons of sweets and sugars when I can, but every now and then I eat them. I also eat lots of carbs before my longer efforts and workouts so that my body has a good amount of fuel to burn for a long period of time (pasta, rice, sandwiches, toast & jelly, etc.).

      Pretty standard. He is what? 20-24years old? If he runs as an athlete he is burning 3000-4000 daily easy!
      He will have to adjust as he gets older as everyone else. + 32 years old or so... Cannot eat like that, specially all the refined white bread hes having
