this is way too good to be a remaster. wish this was the original. the original was awesome but this is just a masterpiece wish the original was the reissue and this was part of their official discography.
FUUUUCK YEEEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so many bands these days fucking up harder than any new shit coming out.... this makes me so happy to hear you guys actually beat the industry and did yourselves justice.
@@xtremeoffroadllc Yes, for sure. This album and The Predator Becomes The Prey are BY FAR their best work. They were one of the best metalcore bands of all time and threw that away for some lame one-listen gimmickcore.
All these comments about the old vocalist is incorrect. Shane was the bass player but he also only did backing vocals. The main vocals that are missing from this album that people are acknowledging is Dave Sieling who was the second frontman next to Spencer. Kinda miss the group without him
Ice Nine Kills is one of the only bands from the modern punk scene that I can really get behind and I've always loved this album, but honestly this gives the album new life, everything except the production is much better here. I liked the lower production quality on the original, but the musicianship is much more passionate and powerful on here. Also many people like the original vocals better, but I gotta admit that I prefer this, it's just more aggressive.
Yea they're definitely NOT punk tho. I absolutely love these guys, one of my main gateway bands into metal. Seen them live a couple times and oh mah lawrd they're so great. Metalcore/emocore/borderline screamo but totally not punk dawg
Amber Brown "what did they do to my baby" was my first thought when I listened to it, the solo is quite different as well as all the missing bass lines, terrible :'[
The Greatest Story Ever Told was originally on The Burning EP. Then it got remastered when they released the original Safe Is Just A Shadow. Then once they remastered Safe Is Just A Shadow they remastered The Greatest Story Ever Told again.
Three albums later and I still come back to this one. This is really peak INK and it has my favorite song from them (not TGSET. That song is the weak point of the album, in my opinion).
It's okay but I'll never be able to compare it to the original it just had that perfect sound that made me reminisce old times listening to the original. although I still don't think they did bad. Just as somebody said Its a different vocalist so naturally it'll sound different he still did absolutely fantastic on those screams. just a little disappointed. call me a critique but this is the internet and that's my opinion. 😛

Agreed. Was looking forward to listening to that, but in 2010 it was just done so perfect, imo. When that song first dropped back in 07 I personally hated it, but 2010 was just...ugh! Disappointed this time around.
God Damn JD is such an underrated guitarist
Seriously man damn
seriously though, listening to the music piece by piece ice nine kills is amazing. I love these guys and I really hope I can see them in my city soon.
joshus massus I saw them at Warped Tour last year! They were amazing!!
Killer Band. Metalcore is Metal. No matter what people say.
It's pretty sad most INK fans don't know that the original The Greatest Story Ever Told is on The Burning EP.

6:35 only if Chris Brown could write such masterpiece... what a banger.
Because he's a shit, maybe he'd make it up so that Rihanna was the bad of the history.
this is way too good to be a remaster. wish this was the original. the original was awesome but this is just a masterpiece wish the original was the reissue and this was part of their official discography.
smoother than a babys ass and the screams are just as good as the previous album. 10/10
Isn't this there first album
@@goldenproductsions2953 should we tell them
the best metalcore album ever
I got so excited to hear the remastered version of Buildings Burn, People Die

The memories ashore and the red sky that warns you of the lightning igniting the sky, this ship is going down!
I like a lot of the updated songs, but I liked the old The Greatest Story Ever Told
7:06 what a gnarly ass dual scream!
I wish they still wrote like this. The new stuff is good, but I don't care about horrorcore. This is still the best album they've made
Nah.

@@derpderpin1568 ouch lol but so true lol
original is my fav ink album, this remaster is great
just saw them in concert at the Chelsea grin concert at the mr. smalls venue and they are amazing live.
Just love it this is for sure one of my top favorites albums by ice nine

I miss him a ton, the back and forth vocals between him and spencer worked so well
But on lives in 2010-2011 "sweet" clean vocals parts done by Shane :/ (sorry my bad French)
never be as good as the original but they did amazing remastering it
So happy that I don't have to wait until its released to hear it :D
I love the remastered because they made it their sound.

12:27 those highs give me chills everytime.
Why?
excellent masterpiece
Thank you
My god this is insanely better than the original.
yesss.
R. I. P. For the bassist
Where can we find the original album
Holy shit!!!!!! Every song I was like, " no fucking way"
I thought people under the stairs couldn't be topped, but it tops itself
You the real MVP.
Why can't they just call it the greatest song ever made
It really is tho
Why is this band perfect
Damn they did a good job
cool album harcord
I have found you again.
although spencers replacing vocals of Shane sounds off cuz his voice cant normally go as high as Shane's the all new clean vocals sound a lot more raw
David Sieling did the cleans on SIJAS
I know I got confused as well Shane and Justin just did Backup you like never know there here as apose to JD Spencer and Dave
INK
I don't like the highs as opposed to lows on certain parts of "the greatest story ever told"
but! regardless, sounds badass.
Amber Brown "what did they do to my baby" was my first thought when I listened to it, the solo is quite different as well as all the missing bass lines, terrible :'[
I didn't really expect the bass to sound the same since Justin originally played guitar on this album and then had to switch later on.
Amber Brown Fuck you
I agree with you, but dame dude chill. Its just an opinion lol
The Greatest Story Ever Told 😏
I'm watching this video 2021
Have they remastered the Greastest Story Ever Told three times now? 😂😂😂
yea i think its bc its good lol
and they never play it live lol
The Greatest Story Ever Told was originally on The Burning EP. Then it got remastered when they released the original Safe Is Just A Shadow. Then once they remastered Safe Is Just A Shadow they remastered The Greatest Story Ever Told again.
why did they take it down from spotify
Who's the F****r who disliked this!!!
Guillermo Lopez probably some hater :3
I_SUCC_DIX_4_SUBZ probably lol
yes because everyone that dislikes ice nine kills is automatically a JB fan... Idiot
William Andrell of course they are
William Andrell shhhhh sorry you like JB
Remaster my ass, this sounds so electronic compared to the original.
Was the remaster ever released on a physical copy of some kind?

jordan geerard maybe the backing vocals are different but the lead vocalist spencer has been in the band since 2006.
there was a second front man who did the really high stuff on the first album
well backing vocals his name was shane.
you're a fucking saint!
seguramente soy el unico latino que escucha esta musica
No lo eres jajaja

Shane's vox were so whiny and annoying and Spencer blows him away, so most of these are infinitely better imo.
The singing is so exaggerated in the remaster. The og is better vocally
The album is awesome but the remastered sucks so ill stick to the good old cd ;)
The greatest story ever told sounds worse in my opinion...
It'll take a long time to convince me any version of that song is better than the version on the Burning.
Agreed. Was looking forward to listening to that, but in 2010 it was just done so perfect, imo. When that song first dropped back in 07 I personally hated it, but 2010 was just...ugh! Disappointed this time around.
As a fan of the Burning version,i prefer this over the one on original Safe is Just a Shadow.
The way the chorus sounds for this song on The Burning completely ruins that version for me.
