Just to clarify, Every Trick In The Book was indeed horror based but it was based in literature more than film, this album seems to be more about the films.

I got introduced to INK through hip to be scared and then I listened to the full silver scream album and I absolutely love it. I love the way all the music videos are a short movie, I just wish they could put it into an uncut version kinda like what fall out boy did with the youngblood chronicles but, other than that this album is amazing :)

Isabella, we did, back when these came out Fearless released a DVD which played the six videos cut together as one feature length film and Spencer and I recorded a commentary track as well… unfortunately only 2,000 were made and they sold out almost immediately but I DID see one on eBay the other day… granted it sold for $450… but they ARE out there. Happy hunting ;)

I watched an interview where the lead singer says most of their songs are kind of based off old horror films and I think that's so fucking amazing.
Crescent Waves everything they wrote for "every trick in the book" was based off of some type of literature, and past events. Their old song "people under the stairs" was based around the world war 2 era, whether it was hiding Jewish escapees from nazi kill squads or people helping them escape.

I was there as well. Had seen a few songs by them, mainly their Punk Goes Pop cover, but never really listened to them. Man it was probably one of the better shows there. Enjoyed how he stood on the crowd. Crazy.

The horror theme they use scratches an itch I didn't even know I had, and I've been listening to them a ton. It was great to hear these guys live at Warped Tour last weekend, and I recommend anyone who has the chance to see them do so.

Edit: Just read that Conor did part ways, but filling in for him on tour is Patrick Galante from Affiance (who is my #1 favorite band). If Patrick decides to remain and write music with INK, I have no doubt INK will improve to a whole new level. While INK already sits upon their rising throne in this industry and continue to reach the top, Patrick would be perfect to follow behind Conor.
Conor we love you, we are excited for you, words can't describe how much you'll be missed and we look forward to seeing where you go from here.

Their creativity is off the charts, the effort they put into their work is just amazing, and I can't wait for the next chapter in this story.
It feels like this is the only well known band that didn't follow bring me the horizon and completely turn into radio rock. So good job guys!

If only Crown The Empire was still in The Resistance: Rise of The Runaways era, they would be an awesome band to collaborate with INK for the new album cause of the storylines they did for that album it would be perfect. If anyone remembers what went on in that era in their music videos you will know what I'm talking about. But anyway I love this song I listened to it almost a hundred times before I watched the music video and I wish I had seen it sooner! To me it was a mix of a short film and music video and more bands need to do that it makes it even better. I can't wait to see part 2! And is it me or did INK purposely make the dream demon look like Freddy Krueger. Also if any of you are gonna hate on me about my CTE and INK comment just keep it to yourself

David Welker I was thinking the same idea of a collaboration but with Famous Last Words when they did 'Two-Faced Charade. Not sure if you're familiar, but it's a great story based off of their 'Council of the Dead' album.

ohioisonfire yeah I do miss the Resistance era but Im used to what they've been doing since Retrograde was released and from what I could tell with "20/20" and based on what I know from what the band has said on Twitter during tweet conversations I've had with them and other fans the next album may be inspired by "Black Mirror" and "Altered Carbon" in some way if it is in anyway it would basically be a futuristic version of the resistance and I hope they do really heavy songs cause usually at the end of each era they do pop alternative rock like songs 🤘🏻 what if they did a song together about a zombie version of Johnny Ringo? That would be cool but this next album is gonna be based on horror movies though
this has the production of one of those really good fan films you see on youtube, i love that The Silver Scream connects together like pieces of a puzzle, i hope they continue to do stuff like this.

This came out way sooner than I expected
As someone who's listened to INK for the last 12 years, back when they were pop/ska, then alternative, and slowly transitioned to metal, i'd say this is one of the best singles they've released in years. Wish they wouldn't use the horror genre for inspiration so much but I know Spence loves it and they are actually still really creative when doing it.

Every Trick In The Book is a fantastic Halloween album. I listen to it every October. The fact that The Silver Scream will release in October is perfect because I bet this will be another good Halloween album.
Not gonna lie, these guys are at least a 10/10 in a musical way and a 100/10 in a video way!
From The Burning to The Silver Scream, this band can do no wrong, LOVE INK. Every album they have ever put out is legendary, every song absolutely epic. Can't say that about a ton of my favorite bands, they all have that one album that just isn't up to par, or that one song that just didn't feel right, never felt that about these guys.
