- The Beast from the East hits the East Coast of England first is Great Yarmouth where we see the seafront buried in deep snow drifts! We also head to Gorleston to see the blizzards on the beach!.

I’ll never forget the Beast From The East. It normally takes me 15 minutes to drive to work, but took me 1 hour and 30 minutes there and again back home.

Braver than me. I took my Pug up to Gorleston-on-Sea beach yesterday and got stuck in the blizzard.. couldn't get back to the car quick enough..plus my hands were frozen and I was wearing gloves!! My Pug loves the snow though. Great video. Nice to watch in the warm. 😁

Back in 87 I remember the drifts were huge. Only stand out because I was shortly on my way to the Falklands and was staying at RAF Coltishall, where my car got stuck on the way to Norwich as well as the engine freezing as I had to leave it overnight.
Great days never to be forgotten.

Colt was my first posting back in 87. Lovely and close to Yarmouth. Travelled the world and came back (to Lowestoft) in 2019. Love the vids Tim.

My god the filming of this and the sound was incredible, I remember the beast when it was with us, coming from Lowestoft I think it’s probably the first time I’d ever seen snow like that on so much of the coastline. Thank goodness that we have people like you to share such awesome things with the world Tim, I’m definitely going to be checking out more of these brilliant videos..👩🏼🎤🐕☃️🤘🏼😂🖤

Wow it’s like another planet this video, we have had hardly anything in Manchester, a bit of snow that didn’t last. Hope you got home safely, looks pretty bad. ❄️⛄️🤞

Dramatic and awesome. We really didn't get that up here. But it's probably even more dramatic because you are so near the sea. Love the video and the speeded up bits. Insanely gripping video. You can look back on that in July and say I survived it.

It must have Tim with all the traveling in snowy conditions to all the places you visited including all the way up to Cromer, but be a bit more careful when close to the waves.

Wow Tim, absolutely fantastic footage. Really loved the stormy sea at Lowestoft and Horton. We have visited once or twice in the winter but haven’t seen the sea as rough as that. Really enjoyed watching, thanks for freezing your bits off for us lol😀😀

Great video Tim, brings back lots of memories for me, it used to snow a lot at this time of year in the 60's. Well done for bracing the eastern blizzards.
