This brings to an end their over week-long ordeal during which they were forced to stay on stairs in front of their house along with all the belongings.

Oh so she works as a property dealer. She must be knowing the loopholes in law too, hence this drama. But since media stepped in, badnaami ho gayi. Business par bhi future mein asar pad sakta hai. But why take the illegal route, the harassment route in the first place? If you have any problem, be open about it in an honest way. She took the wrong route, now people will be wary of giving her an apartment anywhere, isn't it? Karma!!

If the lady in yellow is the tenant then what she is saying she could have said it to the media on the first day itself….but if she is suffering because of financial crisis this doesn’t mean that she should harm others peace of mind…thank fully the law took its course and the couple got their house back…otherwise this was a very shocking incident…

Facing similar situation in Delhi. Tenants refuse to vacate. My father, a veteran Army Officer is having to run around to get access to his own house. Should a man who has fought for his country’s prestige and safety, have to fight a battle to evict crooked tenants from his own house too?

these kinds of tenants must be punished or a heavy penalty should be imposed on them so that it becomes a lesson for other tenants not to trouble the landlord. further tenant laws must be amended properly to help owners in case of fraud. police must be given enough power to intervene with regard to rental agreements.

Justice prevailed. It was heartbreaking when I saw this couple were crying when they were forced to sleep in staircase. Atlast the landlords got their property back. Shameless tenants claiming that this was her property. Credit goes to local authorities & media for highlighting this case.

Why a criminal case is not filed against the tenant for causing harm to the landlord. Something could have happened to them. Who should be responsible for this. This is happening very commonly and law is taking no preventive action against this. Manic tenant continue to harras Landlords because they know nothing will happen.

more than half of the population is living as tenants or on rent.If this happens house owners will never rent out and then think how the chaos happens.All house owners should form an association in their areas and black list such tenants and circulate their names to other house owners associations all over india and state to not to let their property to such blacklisted tenants.secondly like govt. has rules to let the property and evacuations rules similar rules should be applied.If such breach of trust and agreement of court paper happens then how the life will be smooth because of such tenants.I am also a tenant.

us me to police aati hai turant notice dene, 1-2 in ka time deti hai aur uske baad bahar nikal deti hai police, agar tenant ne apne aap khali nahi kiya to uske samaan hatane ka kharcha bhi us tenant se lete hai, aur fir us tenant ke baare me website pe upload kar diya jaata hai ki use nikaala gaya hai, fir use makaan bhi nahi milta rent pe, india me bhi aisa hi law hona chahiye
