Owen, I'm guessing consumers just don't want to be bothered getting a man in the sort the gas connection. The theory makes good sense and I've seen the gas equivalent of an immersion hot water cylinder, again makes sense once installed, silly views on my latest, cheers
I think these dryers made a lot more sense before the option of buying "Green" electricity existed. If it is electricity brewed from gas or just gas then the options are much of a muchness and price wins. I found another two mostly full 13kg bottles of propane recently, fly tipped along an off road cycleway. I think I'll be cooking with gas for some time to come! You can buy these dryers for LPG in Northern Ireland, haven't seen one for LPG over here.
I'm not sure why but gas seems just in general less to go wrong than electric dryers, the only thing that can go wrong here is the timer, motor or gas exchanger which rarely go wrong in my experience with these (which you don't see around much at all)
White knight used to be really good machines! never seen the natural gas version, we had electric ones and it was just trash, gas prices are pretty bad now, id be worried over the usage in my area
I think if you can figure out which of their electric models is similar to yours you might have a chance. they shared a lot of parts. I have made up door seals for electric dryers using plain old draught seal sold for the doors in your house, self adhesive. It works too.
Nice dryer. One of my friends has a built in one. It’s a shame that White Knight went out of business. They made good machines.

White night actually went our of business a while back so seeing one of these again would be rare I guess

What do you mean you'd be worried over the usage in your area? It is a chintzy dryer, but gas tumble dryers are hard to come by!
I have a BG447 which is even older! The door seal keeps falling off as it's perishing but chances of finding a replacement are limited - any ideas?

White Knight now no longer make those tumble dryers, they are now by Vestel & it's electric
They are good tumble dryers.
Come on now you just wanted to know what was vibrating inside
I was more worried about fluff build up.
@@bootsowen really
Great if you could get someone to service it. Or buy a née one.
Service it yourself?
@@bootsowen if corgi registered gas engineers without the certificate for gas tumble dryers, can't. Maybe not.
