Some really nice coins the ‘Year of the Snake’ 🐍 Silver coin looks really nice I too think the best coin of the year is the Paris Olympic team GB 🇬🇧 Great stuff Christopher 👍🏻
I'm starting to think that collecting modern British coins in non precious metals is a complete waste of money, because even getting back the cost of them seems almost impossible!
Don't beat yourself up about the 1/ 40th oz coins. Like you I buy coins that I like for my collection. For interest if you sold you're 8 grams of Gruffalo sterling silver for scrap you would get around £4.40p. If you sold your fine gold 0.8g 1/40th oz for scrap you would get around £47 quid. Still crazy but a far better investment. Hope this makes you feel better. Not really? me too.
Hello Christopher, a few weeks ago I purchased a British 1 ounce silver bullion coin from the Myths and Legends series, which featured a motif from the Beowolf saga. Maybe the next coins will come from this circle of legends. Greetings Andreas
Wow that silver year of the snake is stunning. I may have to get my wallet out. I agree with you about GB Olympic 50p. There are a couple of nice Olympic Euro coins out there. I have the French 2 Euro & strangely an 11 Euro coin. Also nice Paris 24 coins too. Thanks for continuing with these videos. 😂
Coin collecting can be very expensive that why i zeroed in on a specific coin and type, im getting all the silver britannias & the major 1 oz silver coins from every big issuer
Might I respectfully suggest that you wash your hands before you film future videos. When you go in for close-ups in this video, your fingers look like you’ve been reading proper old style ‘news print’ newspapers for a couple of hours. I don’t want to sound negative. I do enjoy watching your coin videos.
Wondering if the packaging is made with recycled plastics or perhaps biodegradable? Those can feel kinda weird depending on the type of plastic.
That's what I was thinking, biodegradable
Yes that packing is garbage, just for the sake of a penny

The Bond coins are supposed to be a 7 coin set. Maybe the last one is a kind of completer coin.

I'm starting to think your talking about investing rather then collecting. 😆
@@michaeloffen7513 collecting should be a mixture of both
The Gruffalo coin is really cool.cheers for sharing Christopher.

Cracking coins, Christopher, you must be well chuffed 👍
Lucky money envelope😅😊
Well, the "uncoloured" Team GB coin still has colour on it... Heraldic colours, remember?

The snake will be the next coin in the Chinese New Year which is in February. If they are a gift then they need to be in the market place before then.
Why is little John in the Dagobath system 😂😂😂
Christopher your recycling bin person will be looking for a good Xmas present 😂
Take care

Exciting!
The new plastic wrap on the coins is awful. It reminds of the quality drop in recycled paper.
Such a shame to hear you say that there wouldn’t be anymore Lunar chinese new year coins as I would’ve loved to of collected all 12 animals
I always praise the bags I buy from luxrul , to be honest, its durability is very good, much higher than the original
Why doesn't the king wear a crown?

Hola! Christopher 👍
Hiya!
First
Recycled plastic they seem to be using 😊
With all the plastic your hobby creates you would think some recycling would be welcome, never heard such whingeing about a bit of packaging!
