Good video on a great product.
I have had mine for around 4 years, it's the same model as yours.
I have used it in every season, in a bunch of configurations, I have nothing but good things to say about it.
+JoeRobinetBushcraft Hey Joe, being a canadian myself may i ask where did you order your tarp from? Have a trip coming up in October in Algonquin and thinking I may need one :P
TheBeagleBrigade I apologize for budding in here, this place is good, fast delivery also. (Canadian)

Mike 1969 this tarp is comparable in material as the one in the vid, but bigger.

Thanks Mike I'll take a look at them. I forgot about Stapleton's. I've actually ordered my maxpedition gear from them :)
TheBeagleBrigade no problem, have fun in Algonquin, i was up in Dwight just a few weeks ago, love that area, and the park of course!
I too have the BushCraft USA 10 X 10, in MultiCam. Have had it for 7 years now. Used it with my Clark NX 150 hammock, worked fantastic. Have used it and used it and used it, still like new. A bomber piece of equipment!
Luke ,i would like to see the video on sealing the seams .Thanks Randall
+MrBackwoodman Awesome. Will do Randall.
Have a good one.

Yep, count me in for that video too.
Me too
First off let me say that I love the camera quality and clear audio that you have. I have the 10x12 tarp and absolutely love it. I use a homemade canvas drop cloth to sleep on that matches this in color and blends well in the woods. Bushcraftusa offers a seam sealer product that can be purchased for around $5 that will seal the ridge line 100%. I sealed my ridge line on both sides and it has not cracked or failed me yet. I was on the fence about whether to buy this or a DD tarp for a long time. The fact that it is made by bushcrafters for bushcrafters here in the usa is what sold me on it. The 10x12 is great for bringing a friend, child,or newbie along for a single outing and letting them take cover under it. The weight is worth the comfort of knowing that no matter what the weather does I'm going to be dry. Insofar as the bug net I use a rectangular one ($9 locally) and suspend it separately via 550 cord with spreader sticks to completely cover me so that I can sit under the lean to and work or sleep.
The 8x10 or 10x10 (had it so llong I forgot the size) tarp as my primary tarp for the past 6+yrs. No complaints yet. These days it serves as my kitchen shelter, as I' in black bear coutry, and I prefer a tent w/ bug screens, as of late, the Kelty Grand Mesa 2.
You’re always there when I’m researching a product. Thank you
My wife, best friend, and myself all use the 10x12 (892g/31.46oz/1.96lbs) version of this tarp We have used it in all kinds of weather and none of our tarps have ever given us the first problem in the three years that we have owned them. I seam sealed all three tarps with the seam sealer that BCUSA sells on their site with a triple top and bottom coatings when I got them. The easiest way is to stretch a line horizontally, lay the tarp on the ridgeline, and use prusik loops at the ends to make it slightly tight. Apply the seam sealer in light coatings for best results ensuring that the thread holes are filled. Stretching the tarp slightly will exposed those holes as if it were in use. Keep a rag handy in case of runs. They are not the lightest but the are nearly bombproof. Lastly, the 10x12 allows for two hammocks under it if you hang in a V shape with the tarp pitched in a wide "A" frame style position.
Had mine for about a year, sealed the middle seam and have had it on multiple outings. It really is awesome, if weight isn't a big concern. It's perfect for me
The oversized stuff sack is a nice touch, it can be quite hard getting kit back into the original bag it came in sometimes, so a little extra space is very handy, it can be hard getting precise folds when there's wind etc.
My go to for years for tarp line was 1/8 inch braided nylon. It’s a do all cord. It’s cheap, it’s lightweight, and it’s very strong.
I went with a free Soldier 10 x 10 which came out to exactly 10 by 11 and it's well-built and I recently picked up a kalinko 10 x 10 tarp and coffee flavor what color and the free Soldier is offered in coffee but it was more expensive so I got the 10x10 which I use for a year very good tarp and reseal it
Luke, if you put some pieces shock cord on your tie-out's it will keep the tarp taught after it stretches. Helps keep it tight in the wind as well.
I've had the 10x12 for a few years now. I never sealed it and I have never had a leak. I normally use it in an A-frame configuration, sometimes with the ridge line over and some times under. I have seen only 1 tie out issue and it didn't tear out, the fabric actually ripped near it. I use a bungee cord mod that alleviates any stretching and keeps it taught. Like the reviewer said It's a little heavier/bulkier than silnylon but you pay a LOT less for it. Hard to find a better tarp for the price.
Yep, another vote for the seam seal video. Been looking for a nice, inexpensive square tarp. Looks like just the thing I'm after!
These are made by Etowah Outfitters for BCUSA. They make a lot of other neat affordable gear. Ponchos's, pack covers, ground sheets etc.
you can get the DD Hammocks 3mx3m tarp (9.8 ft square) for the same price, and the seam is taped, weighs slightly less. if you look around, you can actually get it for about $53.
Great review. Concise and clear. So appreciate all of your reviews.
I like the sewn in loops rather than grommets.
Yess do the video. Most videos I have watched I thought their tarps were at too steep and angle to protect from ran or snow
Luke I just bought this tarp and didn't know it wasn't seamed sealed, it would be great to see how you fix it.
Yes shoot the seem sealer video. Thank you, Mark
Hombre ,,, I would love to see a seam sealing video. That's a skill worth knowing for sure.
Yes would like to see a video on seam Sealing. Also would like to see then put tiyout on the sides so you can pull the sides out farther giving you a little more room.
Seam seal video would be ace
+deanoturn1985 Consider it done my friend. - Luke
+TheOutdoorGearReview I have been watching your tarp videos, and I was wondering, weight aside which tarp is the best quality for some one that will use it in many different shelter configurations a lot. thank you for your time.
You can hang things on any tarp if you are using a ridgeline. String your ridgeline through all the loops on he "top" side then when you set it up turn it "upside down" and then your ridgeline is under the tarp. Hang away.
Hello! I'm not sure if you have made the video yet, but could you make a video on seam sealing this
I was looking at the Kelly 9x9 for my wife because I have the 12 x 12. However, after this video I will be going for the Bushcraft USA tarp. So thank you for the review.
Would like to see the seam sealer vid as well.
Looking forward to your next video.
great review, but at 25 onces take a look at the sitka 10x12 same weight at 25.3 onces for that one
Yes ! I'd love to see you seal the seams.
Great Vid Luke, I actually just purchased the 5x7 Multicam, I think it'll compliment my 10x7 Aqua Quest. Cheers my friend hope you enjoyed your trip around the U.S
Im interested in watching a waterproofing the seam. Also if you could review the snugpak tarp that would be cool too.
gitchel mittins i
Seam sealing video would be good. I have one I need to do it to. In own the Multicam version, love this thing it has survived 60 mph winds and I've used it in just about every weather condition. In use it in collaboration with the ibns bug net. Give that a shot sometime see how you like the combo maybe.
I always use a separate ridgeline so I can get it really tight and then use two prussik knot loops on the tarp for tensioning.
That's a sweet tarp, but a little heavy. I need to upgrade to something larger in the future. I'm using the UST Base Hex 1.0 now and its a little small.
It may not have tie outs on the inside, if I flipped the tarp over then I would have the tie-outs on the inside, if at that time I needed one or two tie-outs on the outside I could use tarp clips.................seam seal video, yes I would like to see it, also try it with the tarp clips.....
I have a free Soldier 10 by 10 and a kalinco 10 x 10 but I just got the kalinco free soldier was an excellent heavy duty tarp double triple lined weather rainproof lining 2 1/2 lb weight it didn't come with steaks the kalinco would really like double-layered rain protection I also a little weak and reinforcements but durable get your with steaks and some god-awful orange guidelines 1.8 lb
Amazing for my needs. I would like to see a video on seam sealing. Thanks
Awesome tarp I would really like to see a video on how to seam sill this tarp. Thanks Luke
$60 is still expensive is should I got my free Soldier tarp it's exactly the same and Kind I got plenty eyelids and it was 45 I just paid 39 for a Klinco's C tarp aftermarket seen some for 14 cheap is out there
like that tarp .i would also like to see the video on sealing the seams
I would like to see the seam seal too Luke... Thanks Duke...
Great video, I am wondering what was the more expensive tarp you were talking about
Thanks for the great video! I've been wondering about the packed size. This really helps in my decision making. Keep up the great work!
Coyote Brown makes everything better. Looking forward to the seam sealing video. Thank you
I do love the 10'x10' tarps. Yes I would like to see you seam sealing the tarp. Thanks Luke. atb Opal
Does the stretching reduce it's water resistance?
Thanks for the video! After seeing your review, I jumped right on the website and got one!
Hello, did you made the video on how to fix the tarp's center to not drip under heavy rain?
as with many others... I'd also like to see the seam sealing!
Thanks Luke, I've been looking at this tarp for a month or so trying to decide on whether or not to buy it. You've helped me make up my mind on a product once again.Keep up the good work,Brett
I would also like to see the video on seam-sealing, Luke.

Nice review, nice tarp. Great price point. Luke I would like to see a video on how you seal the seams. If you do a video, please show what type of sealant to use on various fabrics. Thanks alot. ~John
I have two of their tarps! Could you review their sil tarps? Yes, please show me a seam seal video!
i have been looking for a 10x10 nice price point. yes please share how you seam seal. ollllllo
Love it, ordered one!
Video on dealing the dreams would be appreciated.
Great Review, I looked through your video's for the snugpak 10x10 all weather tarp review. I was wondering what your thoughts are on the snugpak tarp compared to the bushcraft 10x10 tarp. Both tarps are about the same price. The snugpak might be about 10 bucks more. Again great review. Take care Brother. Tony
I would like to see the seam sealing process.
I love my BCUSA Tarp! Coleman seam sealer and you are good to go!
+GhostHawk1776 check out Nickwax and beats Coleman and just about any others hands down. Plus can be put on wet stuff..
Mickey B
If it's wet already, then I'm a little late seaming it. lol!
But thanks!
+GhostHawk1776 Thats why Nickwax is great and can be used if wet.;)
Great video luke, a seam seal video would be really awesome as well.
What is Bank line, where do you get it?
Yes on the seam sealing!!! Please and Thank You!
Thank you sir,one day I will get one I hope
great tips & input.super helpful.thanks a bun man..Seam video out yet?
Great looking tarp. A seam sealing video would be great. Thanks luke. atb Opal
Luke, would love to see how you do your seam sealing. Quick question: do ya know how this tarp would perform in severe cold? I live in upstate New York and do a lot o 'extreme' camping in the winter. We frequently get temps in the -30*/-40* range for a week at a time, and the tarps I use now (simple heavy duty blue tarps) tend to crack in those extremes usually at the tie-out points, especially when there is added weight from snow and ice. I tried canvas but the weight sux. How do ya think this one would fare? - Vin 'The Hatchetman' D.
Finally, a good tarp I can afford.
Thanks for the video. I am planning on buying a tarp for several reasons. It is lighter than my tent wich is 2.2 kilo. You can sleep in a hammock in angled places and still sleep straight.
My question is: Is this worth it? Isn't it cold, wet, full of buggs?
Keep up the good work!
Sorry been a long day over here in Australia every one has the sniffles being Winter here .
I'd like to see you seal the seems on your tarp.
Thanks for the vids..
Can you double check the weight on this? Their website says 1 lb 9 oz.
Luke, what gauge bank line do you recommend for this application?
I have the Texas Bushcraft tarp in the UK. I wouldn't say £89 is cheap. That's $116. Mine has monumentally huge loops which can't hold any type of peg. Yours look far smaller than mine. I've tried paracord, the knots of which undid, the bungee type option which made the tarp unstable, and clips which did not hold the tarp and just came off. Strong winds and continual rain. Anyone with any ideas on how to use loops which are about 10 inches long, please let me know. I have run out of ideas. If Texas Bushcraft could see their way to making far smaller loops, that would be great.
I want one so bad but everywhere I look it not like yours or I watch joe robinet and it doesn't have the tie outs like the ones u have
how is this tarp around flames? is it something i could use right next to a fire?
+TheOutdoorGearReview Why was the tarp not seam sealed?
Love to see the seam review & if you could do some different set ups for this tent. I almost bought the pathfinder tarp but it's $150 Thanks Luke big fan
Yep i'd go with the DD as well. BTW luke what's the HH on this tarp?
Thanks for the review, Great tarp. mine gets used all the time :)
Great job! Thanks
It looks awesome but i can't afford $60 for a tarp. Im having to build kits for 3 people. Are there any good tarps out there for $30 max?
Great video. I have been looking at the BCUSA tarps for a while. On the fence between that one and the silnylon. Have you had a chance to test the silnylon and compare it with this one? I never used silnylon and was wondering how tough and waterproof it is in really bad weather.
Luke have you ever reviewed hammocks
At the beginning when you went over the stuff sack and what else fits in there you mentioned stakes and line. I heard "steaks" ... and it's true, you could probably fit a couple of steaks in there if you needed to. I think I'm hungry.
Oh man, I would take a steak right about now! :D - Luke
Very good review, for an awesome product!
thanks much for everything you do sir 😇
What is the brand of your t-shirt in the video? Thanks !
That is an Old Navy Active shirt.
- Luke

At this price point the tarp should have taped seams?
Yes, seam seal video please! :D
Another vote for a seam seal video please!
I really like this tarp but my allowance wont let me pay that much. does anyone have a suggestion on a cheaper tarp that's not a painter's tarp? thank you god bless
