Just a tip: Maybe tell her you're going to do a de-clutter like 1-2 days prior, so she'd be ready emotionally. Then make stay-give away piles to make it more fun.

I’m a month behind, because the weather in Iowa is a month behind. It’s been so cold! I need windows opened with warm sunshine beating through, warming the floors. I can’t find the energy to do spring cleaning, without the weather cooperating.
I usually tap my maple trees in February, but the weather isn’t behaving. The temps have to be above freezing during the day and below freezing during the night, so that the sap will flow. I usually collect the maple sap in February. It’s almost April and the temps are finally where I can begin sugaring season.
I’ve often thought that house cleaning would be so much easier and fun if it were shared with my girl friends. Each friend gets to pick a day, in which all friends could come together and clean their house. It could be a shared effort, with each friend selecting their preferred day and BAM, all done. Everyone I shared this idea with thought it was a great idea. Ha, try to get a few friends together on a Saturday for a cleaning party. Ya, I said “party” (hoping the word party would be an enticement or incentive), but it never worked out. Truth is, we’re all too busy to even try to make our lives easier.
I guess I’ll just sit here and watch my beloved content creators put a spit shine on their beautiful homes, while I wait for spring to finally arrive.

I did my deep clean back in Nov/Dec when I was pregnant because I knew once I had the baby it wouldn't be possible. He's 2 months old now and everyones sleeping better so we're able to do a little here and there.
