Your kitchen turned out so great! (Love all the kitty shots too.) You should be very proud of yourself for what you accomplished. I loved all of your DIYs. It's those bespoke details that truly make your home unique and special. Now I'm gonna go watch your "stained glass" video!
Regarding your makeshift pantry, you can put oil based paints and stains on top of water based products, but you shouldn’t put water based paints and stains on top of oil based products. The finish will chip and separate. Once you use an oil based stain, you need to stick with an oil based sealer. I hope this might help you.
That's great to know, thank you! I ended up doing oil based stain, oil based poly, and then a dark furniture wax (just for the look and feel of it, not really for any extra protection since I know that's minimal)
Girl, you nailed it. I love everything you did to make your small kitchen homie without looking old lady. But I have to ask you… Why are you holding an umbrella?
It was so refreshing to see that you repurposed what you had or acquired used items and upgraded.
Aw thank you! Yes, thrifted is so much more fun than new 😊
It looks pretty good! I love how you added the lace to the little curtains to make them longer! That actually make them cutter! Blessings!
Wow, the kitchen transformation is amazing. What a lovely space to cook in, all of your hard work paid off. Very nice kitty. ❤
Nice to have an own house/flat where you can change whatever you want
That turned out fabulous! Great job!

If I could, I would have high-fived your 'trash' light makeover. Well done! It is an improvement, and if you want to 'trade up' later, you can.
Great results! 🤩And so good that you kept at it and worked through any aggravations or complexities. Patience is definitely a virtue. 😊
I love it! You did a great job! I especially like the door shelf for your cat. ❤

I really like this. Please clean that door window to bring out the beautiful light. Love the light shade over the sink. Well done.
Haha, yeah I cleaned the inside, but the outside definitely collects dust quickly!
This is high quality work and video editing!

Turned out beautiful! You guys killed it doing all the work yourselves. How did you learn all those skills?
Mostly just Google! 😂 It's definitely a matter of muddling along as we go haha
Do you have a link to the curtain fabric used?
I used these curtains from Amazon and just cut them apart to make two sets! a.co/d/0gy5rJlW

Thank you!! 😊 And the umbrella is just a bit, I needed something to pin my microphone to and thought the umbrella was funny 😅😂
Logan stealing the show AGAIN.
Yeah I need to tell him to tone it down 🙄
Why would you cover subway tile????
It just wasn't my style! But that's the nice thing, is that we can all make our homes to suit us perfectly. What would you have done differently? 🙂
