Hey Ben - does the MPC have a traditional sequencer view where track names are on the left and measures are on the right, showing which measures have data? Like the FA-06?
Not quite as traditional but the grid mode will allow for the time line to be show in a linear fashion but will only display one track at a time, I use this in a similar way in order to display where I am in a time line

@@park171 Back in the Porta-Studio days, you didn't have any visualization, but once you have it, you can't go back.
