Fun! Your first video! Cool, you have a separate building for your sewing room - lucky :) With that bomber jacket, I was picturing the exact thing! A satiny fabric. I had one in the 80's in middle school!!! I wonder if you could embroider the satin? That would be so cool!! I've only made one New Look pattern, over 20 years ago, a pair of fancy pants with a lot of details. Gosh I am so glad you started your channel, so fun!

I have made several of the bomber jacket. Any good fabric store will have ribbing, just ask the staff to show you where. Please take care with the sleeve length. When I wear my completed jacket and move and bend my arms I find the sleeves too short. I modified my next make adding length, still same issue.. I will add heaps next time. Otherwise, great pattern great jackets ! I've made with and without hoody. Enjoy
