I built this lamp with an A3 paper. For everyone interested, just multiply all the sizes in this video by the square root of 2 (1.414213) to get the sizes for the bigger paper. (The 3 cuts are then at 3.4cm, 7.5cm and 11.75cm and the radius for the circle will be 6.35cm)
For those who wish to try this !! PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A LIGHT BULB THAT DOESN'T PUT OFF HEAT!! but I still LOVE the design and idea, you come up with the coolest things ♥

That would actually make it more difficult to cut the paper due to its thickness and it would require to go back many times with the cutter to actually get through, making the resulting cut less clean ^^' And, just a supposition here, but to have it look good I think it might actually take even longer that way

I'd think it would be more secure if the slits alternated in direction rather than their current alignment, although more effort.
