the reveals are not only for us who see the movie, can also be only for the protagonists (although we already knew it): like when Rapunzel finds out she is the Lost princess, Scar confessing to Simba that he killed to Mufasa, or Rasputin reveals himself to Anastasia
Hector was murdered by Ernesto. That betrayal and murder ruined Hector's good name and terrible misunderstanding, stole his songs and robbing Hector's family of generations of music. Glad Hector Miguel and the family were able to expose him at the end. Hector finally got the recognition he deserve. The irony is that if the family didn't banned music, they would have found out the truth a long time ago.
Ernesto poisoning Hector and Te Kā being Te Fiti are the only ones I didn't see coming and my favorites on this list. There are plenty of hints throughout both films, but they're so subtle that I never picked up on them. When Disney and Pixar get writing right, they get it really right.
To me also, I surprised when they both show their true face: DelaCruz: "You have to be willing to do what is necessary for live your moment" and with Hans, I was in true true shock.. He was the villain all the time with a sinister plan
I still remember as a young teen going to the movies with my family (plus some extended family that came to visit) to watch Frozen. When the Hans betrayal scene came on, it wasn't just us, but almost the entire theater gasping in shock. It was quite a moment to say the least
I found the King Candy reveal an impressive twist. I noticed Vanellope on the side of the game cabinet and knew something wasn't right, but his actual identity surprised me.
These reveals are some of the best parts of these particular Disney movies! Because after all everyone loves a good shocking reveal especially when it adds intensity to the story!!!
Exact, that makes it more intese.. leaving us in shock like to the characters.. although the revelations are not only for us who see the movie, can also be only for the protagonists (although we already knew it)
I'm glad and thankful that I got to watch Coco two years before Disney channel ceased operations in Southeast Asia. The movie made me cry. I would want to watch it over and over again
I was surprised and shocked for his reveals, it was the first time we have the prince as the villain wow.. When he was going to kiss Anna, I thought that maybe his "true love kiss" wouldn't work, because maybe Anna loved Kristoff.. It hurt me that he took advantage of Anna and for his sinister plan
I didn't fully understand Kenai killing Koda's mother when I was little, but re-watching the movie as an adult shocked me. "Brother Bear" is a whole emotional roller coaster
@@nathanielpatterson-rc9dq I can see some similarities except the fact hector was killed so he couldn’t go back to his family whilst bruno chose not to due to how he was treated
I’m surprised Charles Muntz from Up didn’t even get an honorable mention! He was so welcoming until Carl and Russell pointed out Kevin. Then his true colors came out pretty much instantly!
I know we the audience know Mother Gothel is not actually Rapunzel’s mother, having kidnapped her as an infant so she can use her magic hair to stay young forever. But it’s still powerful when Rapunzel finds out. She’s already confused when she sees the shrine made for her in the kingdom square but it’s once she realizes the truth and that she’s been lied to and gaslit by her ‘mother,’ she’s had enough and stands up to her. It’s truly amazing especially when she says, ‘Did I mumble, Mother?’ referencing Mother Gothel’s earlier reprimand and representing how she’s developed
I'm agree, that should to have been here, is impresive and impactful the scene.. TRULY AMAZING and very good represented.. the revelations can also be only for the protagonists (although we already knew it)
@@Compucles Well yes, even in the first chapter I think, they show us a nightmare which Rapunzel dreams to Gothel saying her: Look, your hair has grown, now let's go back to your tower.. Did you think i would never come back? Aren't you happy to see your mom?.. It gave me shaking chills
For me, the biggest twist in a Disney film was in Pirates of the Caribbean when Jack is fighting Barboda and is stabbed but is holding one of the coins with the curse so he couldn't die. I wasn’t expecting it.
The missing page from Atlantis was a little predictable, and the twist in Lightyear breaks continuity because Zurg is supposed to be Buzz’s father. The others were genuinely surprising
All of Lightyear is a complete retcon of Buzz's backstory in Toy Story. Plus, you cannot expect me to believe that any parent in 1995 would've taken their five-year-old to see an LGBT movie. Lightyear isn't the movie Andy saw as a boy. That movie was animated. Lightyear is clearly supposed to be a live action remake of the animated film done as badly as the live action TLM, where they change EVERYTHING for absolutely no reason whatsoever.
Everything on this list left me flabbergasted, but there are three other reveals that made my jaw drop... 1. Screenslaver's identity (Incredibles 2) 2. Sugar Plum's betrayal (The Nutcracker & The Four Realms) 3. Zurg's identity (Lightyear)
The shocking thing for Hans' reveal, wasn't Hans himself. It was the fact that a Disney princess was literally left to her death. THAT couldn't have been expected for a Disney movie, especially for a Disney Princess
Well, let's just say Bellwether is quite literally a "wolf in sheep's clothing". As for Hans, the reveal is doubly shocking because he has the looks of a standard dashing Disney Prince Charming. But I agree that the reveal that Héctor was poisoned by Ernesto had to be the most horrifying. The thought that a kid innocently kept a shrine to a monster.
Te Ka was so well done and the song from that scene still gives me chills. I feel like Elsa's sarcasm kind of foreshadows Hans, but you miss it on the first watch. I think Hector being the grandfather was also a shock to me, but I do not really remember now.
#2 Still a frustrating twist. To me, at least. He looked like a great sympathetic antagonist, doing the greater good. Instead, he was a "I'm just using you all along" villain the whole time.
Yeah. He wasn't like, say, Waternoose, who only did what he did in a desperate attempt to solve the whole energy crisis thing. (he even cries out to Sulley at the end that having him arrested for that may lead to further energy crisis problems) No. Hans is even more of a bastard in that he just set Anna up all along. Waternoose felt like he had no other choice. Hans just plain manipulated and lied to everybody.
Brother Bear holds a special place in my heart for being the first movie to have a reveal that truly stunned me. I was 6 going on 7 years old when I saw Brother Bear in theaters, and by God that reveal absolutely floored me, like actually made me gasp. Had I been an adult I probably would've thought/said, "Oh shit!"
I’m pretty sure I have one. The movie, “Anastasia” was bought by Disney a few years after its release. It’s a loosely true story based on the fall of the Romanovs (in Russia). Anastasia (voiced by Meg Ryan) is rumored years later to still be alive. Rasputin is thought to have had the Romanovs killed, so someway or another, once Anastasia goes looking for he family, Rasputin comes back as an undead, rotting enemy of the Czar to try to find and take Anastasia. He happens to be a decomposing corpse. He uses, “a dash of cologne for that smell” and really, the whole movie has awkward moments where he’s fixing something on himself to appear alive. It’s animated, but, before showing it to children you may want to think of answers you’d give for questions regarding Rasputin.
To all of us surprised it us.. he really was an evil and cold two-faced.. even when he asked to untie Buzz, I was shocked when he said: "then you better tie him back to the chair", there he already sounded like a villain, although we were beginning to sense it
For me the most shocking reveals were: how Hector died, he didn't deserve it: really wanted to return home and DelaCruz betrays him from behind; in Frozen, I didn't expect it from Hans, I thought that even if he gave Anna the true love kiss it wouldn't work because maybe she loved Kristoff, but we got a betrayal; In Tangled for me the revelation was when Rapunzel discovered who she really was, and in Zootopia I was surprised that the mastermind was Bellwether, I was like: what?! how?!; although the revelations are not only for us who see the movie, but can also be only for the protagonists (although we already knew it); counts Scar revealing that he killed Mufasa, even though we already knew, Simba didn't know.. that shocked me, how he reveals him..
The prince in the legend and Mor'du are one and the same in Brave. and when Stitch is trying to find his family in Lilo and Stitch and Jumba tells him that he created him.
Hans being the villain really should've been done differently. I think he should've been sincere right up until he kissed Anna--and it didn't work. At that point, he should have realized that what they had wasn't love, but hormones in Anna's case and simple ambition in his own case. He should then have decided that there was no saving Anna, and that the best chance Arendelle had of restoring the summer was to kill the source of the snowstorm--Elsa. Then he would realize that if he did that, there would be no going back. He would have to make it look like it was not only necessary, but warranted. And that would mean abandoning Anna to her fate. And as a bonus, he would get that promotion to monarch he'd been seeking through a marriage to one of the heirs of Arendelle. So he wouldn't start the film a villain, but he would end it as one. We would get to see him make his choice, and he would make the wrong one.
Charles Muntz fron Up really surprised me the most when it was revealed that he killed people who were trying to get into his way from finding Kevin in Paradise Falls, including a threat to Carl abd Russell.
Earlier in "Coco" when Hector claimed he taught Ernesto everything he knew about music, who would've thought he was actually telling the literal truth there?!
The top Shocking Reveals in Disney Movies that I recognize are CDA 001 from Monsters Inc., The Real Villain from Zootopia, TE KA's Secret from Moana, What happened to Koda's Mother from Brother Bear, A Prospector sabotage from Toy Story 2, Not so true Love from Frozen, Screenslaver identity from Incredibles 2, The Surprise Haircut from Tangled, Zurg's Indentity from Lightyear and Bruno's Actually...NICE? Encanto
I can easily compare Bellwether's unintentional confession to Waternoose's. I can imagine Monsters Inc's ending with Zootopia characters. Judy: But turning predators savage? Bellwether: I'll make 1,000 predators go savage before I let all prey die and I'll silence anyone who gets in my way! Nick: You know what, let's play my favorite part again, shall we? (Replays Bellwether's confession)
I like the green lighting underneath Ernesto's face when he reveals his true colors to Miguel. It symbolizes how the poor kid came to the horrifying realization that he idolized *the murderer of his grand-grand-grandfather*
I remember when Hans revealed he was the bad guy me and my good friend at the time when we saw this was absolutely shook (we were jrs in high school btw) haha
Milo find out about the heart of Atlantis but unfortunately for him and kida he exposed Rourke as a mercenary and his treachery that a shocking twist that surprised me
Zurg reveal shocked me but also confused me because Zurg is supposed Buzz's father in Toy Story 2 and not Buzz from the future. Hans has always been one of my favorite Villains
@@nathanielpatterson-rc9dq Agree it would have because I think if the original twist was there, the movie could have been better received and performed tiny bit better
Coco had so many plot twists, I could barely keep up. First: Hector wrote the songs that Ernesto sings. Second: Ernesto POISONED Hector. Third: Hector is Miguel's actual great-great grandfather But that movie was my whole childhood and I love it so much
The only movie on this list I haven't seen was Atlantis: the Lost Empire. But, I do remember being thoroughly shocked by all the revelations except for the one in Encanto. Finding the real cause of the candle going out was more shocking to me than seeing Bruno's actual personality. I had a feeling he was misunderstood because it's not like he chose what would actually happen in the future. He was just able to see the future
All of these were very shocking the first time I saw them for sure. I’d say that the top two on this list are probably the top two for me as well. Both of them were such punches in the face and completely shocked me
hans bellweather and clayton from tarzan are the most shocked moment alongside lotso but still gets me though for backstabbing bad guy you really want to give gothel in tangled a loophole for the magical hair I wouldn't not the same for a villain
for me, some of the biggest reveals were in Cars and Planes. Were Doc reveal why he quit racing after a crash, and Skipper admitts he only flew one mission during World War 2. the Twist in Big hero 6 were Proffeser Callohain was still alive also caught me off gaurd.
@damonika09, once at my slumber party, I was watching my movie Frozen with my friend and she told me that Hans was evil. I was confused too because I thought he was a perfect boyfriend for Anna 😂.
@@shainahullihen1159 I had already seen Frozen before she saw it and she just called it without me saying anything. I guess she knows a bullsh*t person when she sees one. Lmao.
I can think of two shocking reveals that should've been mentioned. King Runeard having killed the Northuldra leader in Frozen 2. Robert Callaghan being the villain Yokai in Big Hero 6.
I would definitely say the top number one pick was really shocking. No one saw that when coming. I also didn't see the 14frozencomingandyouknowthislistisprettyjustdarngood
If Ernesto really wanted to become famous, Héctor could've at least tried encouraging him to pursue his dreams of something he's truly good at other than becoming a musician.
Like Remy said "I'm surprised i'm surprised" happy thursday Ms Mojo, and Nice top as well, take care and God bless you, see you soon for more, greetings from Colombia.
It’s kind of hinted at that Bellwether is the main villain when she’s cleaning her desk if you look quickly you can catch her Underling Doug’s phone number on a post it note.
Personally, I'd rather see Atlantis get a rerelease instead of a remake. Also, I want Disney to adapt two dinosaur books into movies: The Enormous Egg and Dinotopia.

Coco had so many plot twists, I could barely keep up. First: Hector wrote the songs that Ernesto sings. Second: Ernesto POISONED Hector. Third: Hector is Miguel's actual great-great grandfather
But that movie was my whole childhood and I love it so much
The only movie on this list I haven't seen was Atlantis: the Lost Empire.
Both of them were such punches in the face and completely shocked me
1. Tangled
2. Frozen
3. Atlantis and The Lost Empire
4. Moana
5. Toy Story 2
6. Brother Bear
7. Cinderella 3 A Twist in Time
hans bellweather and clayton from tarzan are the most shocked moment alongside lotso but still gets me though for backstabbing bad guy you really want to give gothel in tangled a loophole for the magical hair I wouldn't not the same for a villain
To be honest Te Fiti turning out to be Te Ka was actually kinda obvious. Because she literally became heartless.
for me, some of the biggest reveals were in Cars and Planes. Were Doc reveal why he quit racing after a crash, and Skipper admitts he only flew one mission during World War 2. the Twist in Big hero 6 were Proffeser Callohain was still alive also caught me off gaurd.
Hans definitely has to return in Frozen 3, but as a side villain.
Since i see Monsters Inc the first time (as a child) i knew it ,(nearly thinking, i was wrong) that mr Watternews is a villain.
Anyone else thinks Bruno sounds a little like Hiccup?!
In true telenovela fashion, Coco’s twist shocked me!
*In
I think most of these twists on this list involve villain reveals.
Screenslaver wasn’t actually that big a shock for me. I kinda called her being the villain the second she walked in
Me, too...but I was in my 50s when I saw it.
@@WrenFaithBridger I was in my mid 20s 😂
The heros idol is always the villain
I'm going to be honest..when I found out that king candy was actually turbo it TERRIFIED me 😳😂
so many plot twists so little time
Number #7 has to be my favorite
What about Yokai's true identity in "Big Hero 6"?
loved the reverse twist of Bruno Not bring the Villian All great twust
Thank For The Video. 🙊🤯🥰💕😍👍 p.s. ¿What is The of The name of The Song
in the video?😁💗
Crazy my mom knew Hans was the villian right when she saw him. Lmao.
Lmao.
Prospector was a liar all along
Amazing
honestly there are a LOT of shocking revelations that I've seen from time to time.
I've got three that didn't make the list:
Meg is working for Hades- Hercules
Prince Ali is Aladdin- Aladdin 1992/2019
Clayton is a bad guy- Tarzan
Like Remy said "I'm surprised i'm surprised" happy thursday Ms Mojo, and Nice top as well, take care and God bless you, see you soon for more, greetings from Colombia.
I was super surprised by mayor bellwether
I think your Roz impression sounds accurate. ❤
It’s kind of hinted at that Bellwether is the main villain when she’s cleaning her desk if you look quickly you can catch her Underling Doug’s phone number on a post it note.
Can we get an Atlantis live action?? Andrew Garfield as Milo? Whose with me?
Personally, I'd rather see Atlantis get a rerelease instead of a remake.
Also, I want Disney to adapt two dinosaur books into movies: The Enormous Egg and Dinotopia.
