I mean we were already adults, but...but that made it official...Lol.

    Coco came out 4 months before my Great Grandmother passed away, she died peacefully at the age of 92 and for her birthday before she died my little cousins sang Remember Me from that movie telling my great grandmother to never forget her happy family in the afterlife. At her funeral during the burial Remember Me (Lullaby version) played and I cried so much till I was dehydrated. Until this day whenever I see that scene where Miguel sings Remember Me to Mama Coco or hear that song it'll always bring me to tears because it reminded me so much about my great grandmother. RIP Great Grandmother Aquilina. I miss you everyday of my life.

    An honorable mention for me would be when Keenai (forgive if I misspelled that) tells Koda about his mother's death. The truth can be a harsh pill to swallow. A child realizing their mother is dead is harsh enough but when the person that he has bonded with finally tell him, Keenai's guilt from his actions and Koda heartbroken is a very sadden moment.

    • @complex2live
      @complex2live Рік тому

      That one still gets me, mainly just of how the scene is orchestrated. They could have had it where we hear Kennai tell Koda the whole story, but I think with the song playing in the background with only the important parts of the story being voiced out to us was a great decision. We see more shots of Keenai looking away from Koda because of guilt, but definitely Koda's facial expressions. Koda goes from being excited about a new story, but then we see him slowly get more and more scared and sad when he realizes where his mother is. In my opinion, it's right there at Bambi's mom. In Bambi's case, Bambi doesn't know where his mother is and that is scary to think about, but with Koda, he knows what happened now. The fact that you as a young child getting told by your best friend what happened to them is terrifyingly sad.

    Mufasa dieing is definitely the saddest one for me. I cried so hard. Just the thought of losing my father made me tear up.

    Mufasa's death scarred me for life. And still does to this day 😭😭
    Other moments that always make me (ugly) cry are Dumbo seeing his mother, Todd being left in the woods in order to stay safe, and - although it wasn't listed - the dog pound scene in Lady and the Tramp 💔💔

    I gotta say, Widow Tweed leaving Todd has to be top 5. Here there is no death of a character, just the end of a relationship. Tweed has been alone for years and finds solace in Todd, and they bond as they both find happiness. In order to keep him safe, she has to leave all of this euphoric love behind. She chooses to be lonely than risk hurting the one she loves. The monologue in her head while Todd still doesn't understand what's going on get you, and then the udder sadness of Tweed with the rain and the confusion of Todd send it off. This will always be up there to me.

    The fact that at least one Big Hero 6 scene is in this video made me shed a tear! But personally, i would have added Tadashi's death... it made me so sad that Hiro lost one of the most important members of his family... 💔

    The final scene of the Hunchback of Notre Dame, when the little girl hugs Quasimodo as he gets out of the church, showing him that he is not a monster and he can be loved is one of the best and most heartwarming in the whole disney universe and makes me tear up every single time. It should have been at least in the top 5 imo

    The moments that made me cry is Gramma Tala’s Death, Sulley Saying Goodbye, The Razed Village, WALL-E almost dying, Sad Song for Tod being in the Woods, Baby Mine, Bambi’s Mom Dying, Ray’s Funeral, Miguel Singing to His Grandma Coco, Jessie’s Backstory, Best Friends Part Ways and Mufasa’s Death. I don’t think I can stop crying at those parts. Especially for Coco. Sometimes I feel my heart crying than actually crying.

      Thank you for those who gave me more thumbs up. I’ve loved disney and Pixar when I was little then a teen during the marvel. I 😢 don’t know 😢 what 😢 hit me harder to burst into tears. I really don’t know what. It’s so hard to choose but I’m in between a heart aching mix of Yandu dying, Wall-E dies, Miguel singing, Mufasa’s death, Gamora’s demise, Rays Funeral and others. 😢😢😢

    Disney literally writes movies to make adults cry. Moana's grandma saying "There is nowhere you can go that I won't be with you"-I sobbed in the movie theater! My grandmother passed away right before I moved abroad so that line still gets to me.
