I have never seen a video on this channel that I didn't like.

Great job, BUT I THINK IT FUNNY that you clean the rotor and bracket then sit the caliper on top of clean parts and clean it, letting junk fall on clean parts.

How anyone cannot love this channel is beyond me. Mrs. O is such a great compliment to Eric and the SMA channel that I don't think you could find a better couple anywhere. Why someone would make the statement that Eric O treat Mrs. O poorly is crazy. I don't know them personally but the chemistry they exude when they are around each other is priceless. I'm not a husband or father but I am envious of what a quality life they both have as a family. Congrats on 200,000 subscribers and to many more.
There is a lot of sarcasm and tounge and cheek moments between them. Eric is rather mischievous and Mrs. O is grounded. They both work really well together. At first I though he was a jerk but then paid more attention to the details. It is really just Eric messing around and being a pain. You know, like any husband should be. :D I agree with you. Their chemistry is awesome. The banter is a plus!
@@pickelsvonbrine Yes, I completely hear what you're saying. But....maybe it's me but it sounded like the criticism was far worse than that. I don't think it's tongue in cheek to say that a man is treating his wife like crap by making her work at the shop with him. But as always, Eric O remains the bigger man and gentleman by not belittling the commenter. That is true class in my book. It's easy to lash out, I try my best not to either. But when people start getting to the level of debasing your treatment of family members, it takes a strong man to restrain. Not trying to create drama, just staying my opinion.
Kenneth White yeah I hear ya. Eric is definitely a gentlemen for not responding. Personally I almost never read comments but for some reason I did. Either way I love this guy and Mrs. O. The banter they have always gives me a laugh. It is unfortunate that people have to stoop to such levels though.

I've been working on cars for 35 years now and can say this is my favorite channel. It's informative and humerus. Would like to see this on real TV, it's worth it

Lol I just tell my wife im buying a new tool and go buy it. I have a full service shop and a woodworking hobby. Both are expensive. My main saw was 8000 dollars.

I am quite certain Eric is the leader of the family. I am quite certain if put to a competition, he would surpass all his wife's abilities. The notion that men are inferior to women is why we have a Gynocentric society where men constantly get ruined during a marriage. It isn't helping anyone to play the Mangina theme and tell Eric that his wife is superior to him. We all know it isn't true. I have never understood the need to be subserviant to a woman or play on the untrue theme that she is somehow better than the typical man. Even women know that isn't true.

Just found your site, love it. I’ve been a tech for almost 45 years out here on the west coast. When I’ve done brakes jobs I always rebuild the calipers, replace the hardware kits and install the top of the line pads. I either resurfaced or replace the rotors. All that avoids problems down the road.

wire brushing the hub flange is an excellent idea. I am in the road salt / salt water belt, and i always coat the cleaned flange with anti-seize before installing the rotor.

"Going off half cocked" is from the wild west days of the single action revolver. You used your thumb to pull back the hammer until it clicks and then the gun is "cocked." If you take your thumb off the hammer before it clicks, the gun is said to be half cocked and the hammer will spring back possibly firing the round. Is it true that you're supposed to remove the fill cap before compressing the caliper? I heard it will cause damage if you dont.
Luke W no, I've never had to remove the cap and never had any ill effects from doing brake jobs like that for almost 15yrs now.

I still have yet to figure out (maybe I should ask) how they can bleed all 4 corners same time without opening ANY bleeders. Have seen em do it couple hundred thousand times lol at work

No Eric, *I'm* the IT guy, and I'm not the least bit surprised Mrs.O isn't using her stand-up monitor. Every single one of my users who jumped on the "standing desk" fad stopped doing it within a few weeks.

The guys that invented the varidesk are laughing their way to the bank. I've seen the same thing. Not to mention the money that's been wasted on them plus all of the extension cables to extend the usb and video connections.
My wife and her coworkers were given the choice of one of those desks or a very expensive, very comortable chair. She was the only one who chose the chair! The rest are envious!
Our office started offering them - for about a month. Total joke.
