@@shularicarte1898 It went great. I did everything possible in one day. Went to the Grand palace, Wat Phra and then took a ferry to Wat Arun, then the shopping mall with Sea World. And had lots of coffee/teas in cute little eateries in between.
@@trinayanakaushik811 Wow. Sounds like a full day haha. Did you come from a different country? Have you had any problem with the immigration with just one day itinerary?
@@shularicarte1898 I am from India. I went to Bangkok for work and upon my return I extended my trip just for one day to see the city. There was no problem during immigration.
Thank you for accepting and featuring your 24-hour Bangkok challenge! Love it. In your next Bangkok videos, I suggest that you consider the distances of these places with respect to Chula Uni as your reference. Thanks.
Kaja - You are the best! Just got back from a trip to BKK (not counting the times of visiting this beaufiful place anymore...) and can confirm that this city is one of the most amazing ones on the planet. And your video is capturing well the various things to do / see if you have only 24 h. All in all, one of the most exciting spots on earth - everyone shoud see and enjoy it! Love your vlogs and enjoy how enthusiastic you are. Well done! Best, Oliver
BKK is hectic at the best of times.... you've got a unique perspective having lived there. Thanks for sharing. Labua sky bar is a must for sunset cocktails for me. Cya bykaja🍹🍸🍷🥂
If this is the first time in Bangkok I would recommend booking guided tours instead of trying to get there yourself, the temple tour and the river tour are a must. There is a price difference on the tours depending on the hotel you are staying at, the more expensive hotel will charge more for the tours the cheaper hotels even though it is the same tour.
Tours are overpriced. Navigating your way around bkk is half the fun, even if you get a little lost. So many transport options you'll get there eventually.
Instead of taking taxi from khlong toei to grand palace, I suggest taking MRT (subway). There is new station not far from royal palace called Sanam Chai. From sanam chai station to Wat Pho and Royal palace is only around 10 minute on foot
I actually Think that there are more things to do too experience Bangkok. My tips is to take the local bus instead of taxis (there is an app called viabus which make you see where the buses are going and what number. My other tip is to go to museums and art galleries.
2:45 Dear Kaja, next yr Bkk trip let you try the extended station of MRT blue line to Sanamchai station to avoid some bad taxi drivers. The exit is located near Museum Siam, closed to Wat Pho, You can walk to the Grand Palace just only 1km. You will find plenty of interesting places around old town. I'm looking forward to seeing your next vlog. Khob Khun Krub.
Grab taxi is also illegal in Thailand. It's strange, but the service is much better. And without cheating. I recommend using the grab taxi service. PS. be careful of the meeting between normal taxi and grab taxi. Because normal taxi are often abusing or attacking grab taxi. And they use reason to claim that grab taxi is illegal.
again she say bkk is fricking hot..it south east asia ..it not a cold country like europe..even in cool months from nov till jan it always around 20 still..also what she say is no differents to youtube vlogger in bkk..sorry nothings new in what she trying to tell vistor to be careful about..
To be honest it would be too much to do in just one day at least to me. I don’t think there’s any must do or must see places in Bangkok. It all depends if you are into old buildings/temples person or maybe you are more into nightlife or maybe food experience and many more type of preferences I guess. My best day in Bangkok was as follow. I took Sky Train to Saphan Taksin and then I walked in the direction to China Town and Golden Buddha. The best part was to get lost for an hour or so, interact with locals, eat some great street food and go whenever I saw something interesting to me. Than come back by boat during sunset. Rest a little bit and enjoy nightlife ;)
Buddhism isn't a theistic religion and the Buddha was a real, well-documented person - unlike Jesus. Don't try to compare the peaceful teachings of an ancient philosopher to the vengeful, capricious and immoral nature of the fictional monotheistic God of Christianity, Judaism or Islam. The ECB should stay well clear of BKK (Soi 10 Halleluyah???).
I really needed this video. I am gonna be in Bangkok soon. I am solo and I have exactly one free day after work. Thanks a ton.
