Today Cricut announced not one, not two, but THREE new heat presses - the Cricut Hat Press, the Cricut EasyPress 3, and the Cricut Autopress! Each heat press is quite different from the other, and each serves a different purpose. I've got all three of these new Cricut Heat Presses and I've been putting them through their paces. Let me show you what each heat press does, how it works, and tell you if I think it's worth it for you or not!

We don't have a good place to hold in-person events yet, but it is on our list of things we're working toward. When I have my forever studio, there will be space there for crafting retreats from time to time. :)

Oh the auto press looks SO AMAZING...but $1000?! Really? You can get an industrial-type press that's the same size and does the same things for less than $500 on Amazon (although the storage feature on the Cricut auto press is actually very, very cool). Still...it's super hard for me to justify paying twice as much just for the privilege of getting the Cricut name. Too bad! :(
And how do u adjust the pressure if ur just using 2 fingers to push it down?
I totally understand Julie, these aren't going to be for everyone but are really helpful if you do make bulk items or are running a small business for sure 💗

The autopress is perfect for someone like me who has autoimmune disease that affects the joints and muscles. I just wish it wasn’t $1000. Completely out of my price range for sure.
Absolutely agree with you. I have muscular dystrophy & don’t have the strength for a regular press either. I end up using the little mini press for everything. Way out of my budget also.
I have arthritis in my wrists and hands, so and can no longer use my 8-in-1 press. It's pricey, but may be worth it for a two-finger operation!

Don't worry. China will make the cheaper version soon after this is released like they do with everything else. You will probably be able to get it for like $300.

Am running a small business and I paid 400 for 16x24 press I totally love cricut product but they are extremely limited and expensive most items are only good for crafting not actually running a small business that wants to sublimation and not use infusable ink I can do so much more in my small business with more options and not being limited and this is just my opinion but thank you so very much Jennifer you rock and you have amazing tutorials for beginners and more.

I LOVE the concept of the Auto Press but I'm not willing to pay a $1000.00(999.99) for it. To me that is way off base and that mark-up is crazy.
The hat press is at a reasonable price and that will be on my wish list.

I love the idea of the AutoPress too but considering that I can get other press machines for a fraction of the price, I will consider said alternatives. I hope they reconsider the price.

I agree! The Auto Press looks so amazing, but price is way out of my league!! I would love the Hat Press, and that seems more affordable!! Cricut has a wonderful idea with the Auto Press, but I wish they would really think about the cost of these items as well!! It would take a lot of selling to recoup the price!!
On another thought, I wish they would make the "Print Then Cut" option in Design Space capable of printing and cutting a larger design than they currently do!! Just a thought!

We've been begging them to do that since design space first came out. The reason they're losing so many of us is because they're more interested with putting out expensive products than actually dealing with design space and giving us what we need. You know, the capabilities that other cutting programs have given us years ago... I love the Cricut machines I have, but I'll never spend another dollar with them. I now have *a different brand* cutting machine and once I used their software, I never looked back.
I have been looking for my first heatpress machine and this was an awesome surprise. I love the storage feature on the Cricut auto press and the auto open with such a nice span for a clamshell. The price is a bit steep for me and perhaps if it goes on sale I might be able to get one some day but right now it's definitely a bit out of my reach. Thank you for the informative video!

Hi Jennifer, the auto press will adjust itself depending on the material. Some material require more pressure than others. I am so new to this world but I have learned a lot from your videos.

I just spent most of yesterday looking at heat presses. This is nice, but I just cannot justify spending $1000. My husband had a cow when I told him how much the Maker 3 was. I don't think this will make it to my craft room. But I love it.

Question: what about the "pressure" for the auto press. Regular manual Heatpressers have a way to change pressure depending on the items being used from lite pressure to heavy. I was just wondering 🤔.

Thanks for your video. I really like the separate hat press. This is an item, I think would be a great add on. I have the original 8x8 heat press, the mini press and a traditional heat press with attachments ... however, it would be nice not to have to dismantle my press just for 1 hat.

I have an Easy Press (I think) the new larger one. I am experiencing SCORCHING when trying infusible ink on 100% cotton dish/kitchen towels. Has anyone figured out a way to prevent scorching? THANL YOU in advance! Thank you Jennifer, you have made learning all my Cricut machines and saved me so much $$$$ !
Infusible Ink needs a high polyester count to work well.
