Hi Angie. Thank you so much for your detailed comparison. I am curious after a year how you are still feeling about the walla hat press? It’s durability/quality etc? Before spending the money I wanted to make sure it is still meeting your expectations? I had purchased a vector one last year and returned it because the quality just wasn’t there. I may still just go with the cricut hat press but my fear is I’ll end up wanting the machine and then will have wasted my money on the circuit one. Thanks again so much.
I love videos that show product comparisons like that. It's very helpful. If I was in the business of making and selling hats I would definitely go for the large hat press. The Cricut hat press is great as well. I'm sure you could use that on other rounded surfaces besides hats. It looks like it might be easy to make that insert for the hat and then be used with the Easy Press Mini. A lot of options there. Thanks for the video!
Thank you for this comparison. Wasn’t ready to spend that much $ on hat press doing small volume of hats from time to time. The Cricuit hat press is a great option to start with that can also be used for pressing neck labels as needed. Thx again for your expertise. God bless 🙏🏽
I just purchased a Vevor hat press from Amazon….it was around the same price as the Cricut….I’m lazy, didn’t want to have to stand there and hold the Cricut while it pressed 😁
You couldn't pick any other worst color then that aqua ,,my eyes hurt by just looking at it and trying to read it ,,those 2 colors don't do it but other then that good job on explaining
What do you think about the happy press? Vs siser press. I would like to be able to start something at home but I don't know which machine to buy and I'm low on budget. What brand would you recommend? Greetings
What do you suggest for someone just trying to iron the creases out of hats (Mostly twill) ? Would the Cricut Hat Press Smart Heat Machine work to do that? Appreciate your help!
Angie I love you so much. Are you a Capricorn cause I swear you always read my mind and upload the exact video I need. I also pre-ordered your book on Amazon. Can't wait for it to come in!!
Angie can you cover structured hats with the Wala hat press. I just got it and even with the larger Platten I am still having issues with the structured hats and have researched all kinds of hacks for it. Seems many people and models of hat presses have the same issue.
Thanks for the comparison. Been watching videos and saw 2 or 3 others of yours already on heat presses. I've picked up alot of great hints. This is the first time I heard someone say they use the strong hold heat resistant tape. I saw it on Cricut's the other day.
I don’t think this was up to your usual standards. It would have been nice to see a sublimation hat compared, because there’s nearly a $300 price difference between the Wala and the Cricut hat presses. You didn’t mention cost at all.
I always enjoy your videos. I also think not showing sublimation (and just mentioning it) was fine. Sublimation takes much longer and would not have been time efficient. I appreciate the time you took to show the differences. I have both Cricut presses, would love the Wala...just no where to put it!😅😅😅Thank for all you do to help crafters like me make the best decisions.
@@AngieHolden Disappointed with your response. I have always enjoyed your videos and tutorials, but very disappointed in your response to this individual. Surprised and so disappointed!
@Joanne Walton I mean she already did an amazing and very informative video and someone still wasn't happy and wanted more. It's a trial and error process and she's taking a lot of the guess work away and saves people a ton of money by doing what she did here. Take it or leave it!
Any tips on removing sublimation bleed through on shirts? 😭 I’ve always used Gildan shirts and never had an issue with ink bleeding through to the back of the shirt, but I’m working on a large order now with Bella Canvas shirts and every single one bled through! PLEASE HELP!
Are you putting anything inside the shirt? Uncoated butcher paper should do the trick without causing and issues. Double it if needed. Just make sure it isn't wrinkles.
@@marzbarz72 I didn’t, but I will from now on I’ve sublimated hundreds of Gildan softstyle shirts and never had this happen until these Bella Canvas shirts.
The only real great thing is the hat shape form. If only i could buy that alone..the bended Heater is not necessary
I use a wig form on a stand! It works great as a base for the mini
I have seen people do that!
is that the Styrofoam head?
@@bonniebccanada5113 it’s fabric covered
The handle on the walla actually goes in the hat and pulls down, pulling the hat tight and in place.
HA! Maybe so?????
Maybe you should learn how to use the WalaPress BEFORE you make a video showing how not to use the video. Bad look.
A ceramic bowl works better that those hams.
You secured the hat incorrectly on the WALAPress
Exactly, she had no idea how to explain how to use a heat press she owns.
Thank you so much for this! What tape are you using?
I like the strong heat resistant tape from Cricut for hats!

I still think that a large press is the way to go for a business that will be making at ton of hats.
@@AngieHoldenwill this work for patches & on the bib of the hat? I’m new to crafting
Thank you ❤

Being lazy is a totally legitimate reason for getting a stand along hat press!
@@AngieHolden 🤣🤣
@@boniemann I also got the vevor.. I had a hard time getting hat taught on the platen, and creases on bill. So I returned it

How does the Hat Press do with visors?
You can do visors on this as well!
You've got skill with that EasyPress Mini!
Thanks Angie! Love your channel.. ♥️
You're awesome, Angie! Thank you, yet again.

Not sure!

And as far as mentioning prices go...most people realize pricing changes constantly, so it's best not to bring up pricing.

OMG😂, you are holding the hat wrong!! You need to watch a tutorial of how the heat press works😂😂 , very wrong.
A video on making HTV sweatshirts pressing would be helpful. 😃
There are tons same as tshirt
great demo on these
Awesome! Thank you so much for taking the time to show us Hat Pressing Options!
You bet!
i like your video😄
Thanks for doing this video. So when you preheat you only need to do it for a few seconds?
Yep. 5 - 10 seconds max!
Where can I get the same Tape dispenser for Circut heat tape?
Put a link in the description below this video.
Do you have a video tutorial how to do bracelets with faux leather?
🙂
I do not!
