I am running a marathon this weekend and came across your video. I am going through exactly what you had been through. It was a tough September that I was totally unprepared for. I lost a 22 year old neighbor, my best friend of 35 years and my precious 13 yo dog within 3 weeks. I was nursing a cold and stomach flu during these traumatic events. I didn't train at all for this weekend's marathon. I was going to step down to half marathon or not run at all. However, deep inside me, I convinced myself to run in memory of the 3 beautiful souls. I am dedicating this Sunday's marathon to them.
This video was so wholesome, even I (& the audience) can feel the emotions in it. Running isn't easy to start with, but man, running a marathon without training? Daniel that's a whole different level of 'You against you', show the people that anything can be done if you want to do it. So proud of you and Congratulations on your wins. HOPPA 🤗

Running a marathon this weekend but with a bunch of training going in but this is still inspiring. We can endure so much and we'll never know until we try. These feats teach us so much about ourselves. This is all for a 20hr ultrarun that I'm shooting for 100km
