Eve Arden also had a wonderful career on the stage. I saw her on the stage in Hello, Dolly, Mame, Butterflies Are Free, and Forty Carets. Eve Arden also did her own stunt work in Marx Brothers at the Circus. She walked a medal plank forty feet in the air and upside down with magnets in her shoes. She was a gifted musical talent. Too bad she didn't sing in more of her movies. I miss her.

The major omission in this otherwise excellent profile of Eve Arden was vaguely referencing ‘Mildred Pierce’ the 1945 Joan Crawford classic that earned Ms. Arden her only Oscar nomination in the supporting actress category.
