I wish they made this kit out of phenolic resin or something that wouldn’t conduct heat like the aluminum does. Causes to much heat soak and there isn’t always enough hood clearance to the air cleaner to install a thicker insulating gasket.
What adapter do you use for BBFord? 429 has spread bore intake manifold also but that Adapter plate doesn’t line up with the Ford carb stud holes in the Ford intake. Do you have a solution?
I am ordering this kit for a ‘68 275hp 327. Stock cast iron intake with “hot slot” on carb base. Will the adapter plate block off the hot slot? Or should I still use the stainless steel baffle below the adapter plate.
The one he is installing in the video. On this 327 in this Camaro. Just curious because I am trying to get an idea of what CFM I should use for my 350. I was thinking either 600 or 650
buy a Holley instead, can you imagine having to use an ADAPTER to put a Performer on a performer manifold of the SAME brand.Just a way to make you buy MORE STUFF
YES we agree for using a 600 # 1406 or our 650 # 1806 for that application

Thanks
I have a 350 5.7 four barrel intake..do I need this adapter?

So the hole on the adapter goes on back side?
Good video but you didn't explain which way the Mount plate faces
The spread bore to square bore retrofit adapter does NOT restrict flow in any way?
Wonder why it says WEBER on the side of the carburetor?

Hello..I have a performer manifold and a edlebrock 600 cfm carb. Should I install a spacer?
Yes the 4 hole spacer
Which carb are you referring too?
Edelbrock USA how does the base gasket goes on a Carter AFB 66 Coupe DeVille Cadillac
how does the gasket setup on a Carter AFB carburetor 66 Coupe DeVille Cadillac
how does the gasket go on a Coupe DeVille Cadillac carburetor Carter AFB 429 engine how does the gasket sets up on the carburetor
What CFM is this carb again?
He didn't say. It looks like one of their performer series carbs though. The performer series are all 500-800 CFM.
