Lovely.... Timeless bike right there.. 23 year old and still looks as good as any other bike on the road.. I ride a 33 year old nc30.. Also a timeless classic
Hell of an excuse to buy a bike, you tubers, not mentioning any names always rush past abandoned motorcycles in favour of cars, more bike content may attract some more viewers.

Nice one Stu, lovely lil bike the R6. Tbh, can't remember when I last rode a bike without a quickshifter, would be weird to use the clutch all the time now! Stay safe on it 👍
You can't beat a Yamaha, Stu.
I have a small collection of classic Japanese bikes including an FZR600 3HE, 1991 and an FZR600R 4JH Foxeye. I have found that a 600 is fast, but quite economical too.
The R6 is a bit rev hungry compared to the FZR600.
I like classic bikes and cars, but bikes take up less space.

oh mate , im envious of your clean r6 ! ive got same one as you , was mint .. until i avoided a car coming out of a blind spot and had a crash , currently in a temporary state with Rossi 46 nosecone and some damage to fairing and ram air pipe covers . a great bike though , id like an r1 but not yet i think , the r6 still feels good

I just got one an 01 R6 , been working on her for a few weeks heard and there getting her ready for a 800 mile trip.
Nice 1 stu very clean little thing you’ve bought theres not many of that age that haven’t been messed with so if i were you id keep it as it as and just enjoy it

Loving the R6 but please get yourself some good quality leathers and helmet...gardening gloves and rain jacket won't help if God forbid ya take a slide.

Some people when driving don't care about people on motor bikes so have to be careful on the roads that's why I wear the right gear when I ride my bike but mine not as big or as nice as that bike stay safe when out on it mate

Quickshirters tend to break gearboxes that weren’t designed to have them so be easy
Lovely r6 bud, I rode my mates couldn't get along with it, I got a cbr 600 f4 but thinking mt07 or mt09 next, be safe out there, had a couple dicks cut me up other day, trust no one I say

Great condition, future classic, I think the 600cc is a better all rounder than the 1000cc, on any brand of bike, can't beat a suzuki

No, not at all. You can get away with it without having a "Quick shifter" really. You only need the Clutch for 1st Gear.
