    What’s the best tip for beginner? I watch UA-cam practice my fade on my brother. Looking to go to school but my friend owns a barber shop and wants me to watch. Thing is I’m more hands on. Any tip or opinions on what correct move should be or choose

    That’s my brother Angel… I was one of the best top barbers in pleasantville NJ “CHINO” and cut hair over 15yrs no license.. compared to the ones who paid for school and had no skills to cut. The schools is a scam.

      Do what you want dude, its all about how good you cut, not how you look, barbering is fun and Everytime someone walks in you know its business so be happy doing what you do my guy!

      Dude , do your time learn how to become a fademaster , earn your ink later you can tattooed a tear drop on your face and get you a spider web 🕸 on your elbows so people know you mean business

    Do have any tips to start, then? While NY (and the rest of the world) is shut down, I would like to know what you think I should learn and from where to become a barber, from scratch. I would be practicing on myself and my mom to start. Thank you, CJ. Appreciate the channel.

      Hey, thanks for reaching out.
      Well assuming you've never cut hair before, then I'd suggest you watch channels like Ivan Zoot's. He's a legend in the game and breaks down the actual concept of what you're doing. The most important part of this game is the fundamentals. And you can learn that from traditional cosmetologists as well. So don't be hesitant to watch stylists channels where they cut with shears. The same principals that apply to cutting longer hair (cosmetologists) also apply to short hair (barbers) too. I. My opinion, the best barbers are the ones that master both. After you learn the fundamentals then you concentrate on learning styles. That's the fun part. But most people concentrate on that first and that's how you become one dimensional. Insha'Allah I hope to add more content and tutorials on these topics because I'm actually skilled in both and became a Cosmetology educator as week. Initially I started this channel for that purpose but the haircut tutorial game is really crowded and oversaturated so it evolved into Barbershop Conversations lol. But if you keep watching, you'll see some of that stuff coming soon. Especially since I have time on my hands now lol. In the meantime, subscribe to Ivan Zoot's page, the Andis clippers page, Kenny Duncan has some really dope stuff and he and I actually have similar styles. Also tyrik Jacksons page on IG. The brother Chris bossio is really dope good too and free salon tips ( I think that's the name of the page 🤷🏾‍♂️) but they have great stuff that I watch all the time. And I have a few more haircutting videos on my IG page @talentedmrcj. Thanks for reaching out And if you have any questions or need any help don't hesitate to reach out. I'm on all the socials so I'm easy to find. 😊

      Yes this was my question as well I have my cosmetology license and always wanted to get into barbering but not sure if I should do barber school or apprenticeship I have worked in plenty of salons and hair school taught me nothing actually I learned it all in the salon hands on so I don’t wanna pay for barber school and the same thing happen it is pricey but I really do wanna learn this skill as well

    Why would barber school be a scam? You'll learn everything you need to cut ANY hair except maybe perfecting fades which you can do that in your own time.

      @GustavoSantos-gz7uj 4 роки тому

      @@mando2.049 exactly but that's not the case and going to school is going to make anyone's journey of learning quicker plus you'll learn things you have never known to learn. I know a lot of barbers that aren't licensed and never been to school and all they can do is fades. Other than that they can't get their money up cause they don't have the proper KNOWLEDGE.
