Such a "No Name" Scooter will never dethrone the mighty Ninebot Max..just because it is available everywhere, has the largest community, easiest repair and upgrades etc.
Totally agree, the S2 Max is awesome :) I think the Cruise control kicks in after a few rides...mine all of a sudden kicked in...love it even more now :) Pretty awesome for a unit without suspension :)
I've had my S2 Max since April and have put over 150 miles on it and have only found the cruise to work in Sport mode at wide open throttle. I'm getting the Emove Cruiser here in a few days. Excited for that after watching your videos on it
I have a Hiboy Max Pro which uses the same display and motor with just a larger battery and beefier chassis with suspension, and cruise control works just fine for me in all three modes. You can also activate it in the app. I was looking at some Emove’s but decided against it when I heard some horror stories about their customer service.
I have several Segway Ninebot Max30's and recently "tried" to get in warranty support on one of them. Several months later... no response, no service, nothing but dead air. I would invite anyone considering a Segway to do a quick internet search on people service experience. If it breaks... you will either wait for months to any type of repair, or be left to figure it out yourself. It would be great for the folks doing these reviews to add a "Customer Satisfaction" element to their videos.
I’ve gotten an Inokim q 4 and regularly do night or morning rides with it from white center to Lincoln’s beach to alki, it’s absolutely beautiful to see the city at night all lit up
Would u rather get the hiboy max s2 over the ninebot max g30? Considering the fact that live in las vegas and weather is scorching hot. I seen yr video of the ninebot over heating and breaking and also seen alot of videos of the ninebot wires melting also. Not sure which one to get. Does the hiboy have any overheating or temperature issues?
I suppose the main disadvantage is you get what you get. Ninebot Max has the custom firmware and modification advantage. For a bit I saw that Hiboy had terrible customer service and a ridiculous 30 day warranty (Which would be practically overruled by consumer law in most places as not lasting a reasonable period of time)
Ginger! Question of the day. Riding in eco/1st gear. A guy weighing 140 pounds like myself. Would it be more efficient to ride in single or dual? What would get me more range?
Bit confused because watching another video your hiboy s2 pro got roughly 12 miles whereas this got 26 but in another comment you said it gets roughly 25% more range - is that just an error in typing or am I misunderstanding something? Would you definitely recommend this over the s2 pro for a longer ride? Also, you seem to give hiboys pretty favorable reviews whereas forums tend to shit all over them and always go with the ninebot max. Is that snobbery or are they significantly more reliable? Thanks!
Minimum range test was roughly 12 miles for the s2 pro but your regular test was around 22. Sorry for not reading the title well lol. As far as my other question though -
The scooters themselves have been nothing but good to me. I've never had one really break. It's not so much that they impress me, but they impress me for the price point, you know? Like the s2 max here is cheaper, faster, & has more range than the ninebot max. Their service is pretty bad, though, so you get what you pay for in some regards. I think a lot of people end up gravitating towards the Ninebot because of the reputation Segway has and also the upgradability of the Ninebot max (fat max motor, sharkset suspension, ect).
@@GingerOnWheels Sweet, thanks a lot for the helpful response, ended up going with the HiBoy because of your helpful and honest insight! ginger they claim the max and pro have 500w motors yet these scooters appear to struggle up hills just as bad as the 350 w regular s2. are you able to test these scooters side by side to see if they struggle the same? something seems very off about the motor specs on these scooters. a 500 w scooter should not struggle the same as a 350 w scooter up a 10% incline. the 350 might hit 5-10 mph before stopping and the 500 should hit 12-14 before stopping at an increased incline of 15-20% at 190-200lb rider weight. can you investigate and post your findings i think this would be informative and valuable for your viewers.

Plus Amazon always has this for 100 dollars off too.
It's the same price anywhere you look. 👾
@@GingerOnWheels that's good. I like ordering from Amazon it's real easy to return anything you don't like. Plus the tracking is real nice. Living near drug addicts makes it scary to guess if my scooter is their or not.
It's 3% cheaper than Amazon if you use the affiliate link in the description of this video to buy it.
Do you think S2 is good enough for a 12 years old kid?
I think it's perfect.
How is $500 "budget"?
It's all relative. 500$ is super budget for an adult electric scooter.
Too bad the handlebar has no adjustable height.
UA-cam has unsubbed me to your channel 3 times what tha fuck youtube
That's really weird. I have no explanations for that.
Sup ginger
Hola 👋
I got here too late. They are Sold out.
No I don't think they have stock yet. Keep checking the website.
Battery dead after 20 mins tho. Not good
Come on buddy, don't promote no name scooters, someone might get hurt from this shit.
It's not no name. They've been around for longer than VSETT at this point and have probably sold more units, too.
@@GingerOnWheels VSETT is not a new company, it rebranded ZERO scooters and it's a unique design. This company is just cloning Ninebots, Xiaomi's and other less know like Kugoo (which are already bad). You are getting a clone of a chinese product, just get the original one, they are not that cheaper anyway.
Yes....but it's not a ninebot 🤷♂️
Doesn't need to be.
It's better
@@christianmarmol3230 Is not.
@@jmginthent651 the facts prove it and video
@@christianmarmol3230 do not
Chinese company, untrustworthy.
By your logic, every scooter brand is untrustworthy except Rion.
90% of everything = Made in China
Don't be a hypocrite...
already been thru 2 controllers on the S2 and now a battery after having it 3 months... so no it's no match for the max just like everything else..i don't know how Hiboy got you to say that but i hope it was good😂Hiboy is garbage and it'll never compete with Segway, not even on the cardboard box!! 😊
there is a guy that has had the exact same scooter for 3500 miles/5600 kms, you probably treated yours like garbage
