- In 1987, KATHRYN LEIGH SCOTT released her 1st book," My Scrapbook Memories of Dark Shadows" and went on a book signing tour. This video is from a book signing event at Walden Books in San Francisco. JONATHAN FRID was with her because he was performing his one man show and also in Arcenic And Old Lace.
they were the best ill fated couple, their storyline as Josette and Barnabas was the best

Did you know that Ms. Scott was / is good friends with that actor Johnny Depp? Sooo cool. They met when she did a guest role on the drama TV show he worked on called 21 Jump Street. Then he asked her and Frid to be in his Dark Shadows movie.
It was nice to watch this! I liked the little wisp of white hair that Jonathan was sporting! It looked great! Kathryn Leigh Scott is so adorable! I hope she made a lot of money from her first book! ~Janet in Canada
as since starring as Maggie Evans on DS, that Kathryn Lee Scott still looked as beautiful. I've guess that even up to now, and later on, that beauty will always remain in and on her.
My Favorite 2 Characters. Their Barnabas/Josette Love Storyline carried the series---even Dan Curtis said so.💯
Jonathan Frid playing Jonathan Brewster must have been amazing.

seem to recall some of those people were at our local Waldens in the mall. In the Early 1990s when classic 1960s Dark Shadows was as popular is new stuff!(and as respected)-I watched it on "sci-fi channel" back when it was actully a good channel to watch. Dark Shadows was great thing to watch on a gloomy day, we had lots of those back in the 1990s in my area. Christopher Lee did Hammer promos often.. I watched it on my knock off "cable" service called "antannavision" using an antanna in the attic and local cable not as good as real cable. way out in the country yiou take what you can get! I paid for it though! not to be confused with the "anantnat TV station.
Always adorable together - such a nice easy-going dynamic between them! And don't you just love when someone deliberately interrupts a conversation btw 2 ppl and then says surprisingly "Oh, I'm sorry..." as if he didn't know they were talking???? Really annoying guy with the super-sharp 'SSS' trying to get into Jonathan's business about what time he got in - Mind your beeswax and let these 2 old friends talk without your bothering them!!! Yeesh!!
Honey, that guy who asked the question was a friend of theirs. They knew him for years from the conventions. They were just making small talk.
The gray streak in his hair must have been for the role he was playing. Nice video.
